(Y/N)=Your Name

"So... Your friend. She seemed pretty upset, what's up with her?" Johnny said, looking at his feet as he walked you to his friend's house.

You hesitated.

Telling Johnny why Jo was upset could ruin her, but it might also help things between you two.

But... Did you really want to be friends with Joanne again? Because all you wanted to do at the moment was push her face in a pile of dirt.

That didn't seem like something a friend would do.

"Her name is Jo." You began.

Johnny listened.

You hesitated.

Johnny looked up.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He said, looking kind of upset.

You bit the inside of your cheek.

He was pretty cute.

"It's okay, she's not really my friend anymore, anyways." You said, looking down at your shoes.

Johnny nodded and adjusted his hands in his pockets.

"Jo likes you, Johnny."

He looked up in alarm, as if a fire alarm started going off.
"She likes me?"

'Yeah, and I kind of do too.' You wished you could say.

"Yeah." You looked at your arm which now had some blood dripping down it.

"I got these flowers today-" you paused, realizing that they might be from Johnny who was now bright red "they were beautiful. I don't know who they were from, but they came with a card."

"I didn't let Jo see the card, so she did this to me." You gestured to your arm.
"And then she saw you and me outside..."

"That's terrible..." Johnny looked up as you approached a small house.

"Yeah." You looked up with him.

"Did you like the flowers?" He asked nervously, but you could tell he was trying to be cool.

"Yes, I loved them." You smiled.

Johnny blushed.

"That's good." He said, extending his arm to open the gate for you.

You thanked him and walked up the stairs, stopping at the top.

You weren't sure if you should knock or not.

Johnny followed you up the stairs and walked right into the house.

You shook your head in disbelief.

"You two must be very close." You said, walking in.

The house was messy but organized at the same time.
