(Y/N)'s P.O.V
For the first time since I first discovered my semblance, I was kicked out of my mind, along with Ruby. Something felt like it was missing like I had lost something, but I just can't remember what. I could feel another crack go off in my head. Clutching my head I feel to the ground and was ready to pass out. The last thing I was able to hear was Ruby yelling for Yang. The last thing I saw was Ruby looking me in the eyes. She was crying and I couldn't do anything about it. What kind of brother makes their little sister cry?
Next thing I know, I woke up in my bed, the sun shining brightly into my room. I used my hand to shield my eyes as I stood up. "How did I get back here?" I ask myself, stretching as I look out my bedroom window. I shrug it off and head downstairs to get some breakfast. It's amazingly quiet.
"Guess dad must be out on a mission," I sigh as I walk over to the fridge. I notice the clock nearby and decide to check it. "Man, it's 6 A.M. why am I even up?" I ask slightly laughing to myself.
I pour myself a bowl of cereal and sit on the couch. I don't bother turning on the T.V. since I'm kind of enjoying the peace and quiet. I quietly eat my bowl of cereal just in case dad is actually just sleeping in his room. "It's so peaceful, I wish it could always be like this," I sigh to myself as I finish up my cereal. I quickly wash my bowl and put it away before returning to the couch. That's when I hear quite footsteps coming down the stairs. 'Must be dad.' I think to myself sitting on the couch.
"(Y/N)!" I hear someone shout. I turn around to see rose petals before getting tackled to the ground in a hug. Ow, what the hell!? I mentally shout. I look up to see a girl with black hair and red ends. "Um, hi?" I say questioningly looking up at the girl. Did dad not tell me he had company over or did I just forget? I think to myself standing up. The girl was surprisingly light, almost as if my body has gotten use to her weight.
"I'm so happy you finally woke up," She says lightly sobbing into my chest.
Have I been asleep for a long time? I mentally ask as I pull the girl away from me. I get a look at her face and feel like I know her, but I can't remember her name. "I'm sorry, but could you tell me your name?" I ask, looking her in the eyes. She blushes lightly.
"Come on (Y/N), it's me, Ruby," She says proudly. Ruby? Do I know a Ruby? I think to myself.
"Are you a guest of my dad?" I ask trying to make some sense of the situation.
Ruby looks at me confused. "I live here (Y/N)," She tells me. That can't be right, I thought it was just me and dad, wait who is my dad?
"R-Really, um, what's dads name?" I ask just trying to get some answers.
"Taiyang, duh," Ruby says with a smile.
Who in the world is Taiyang!? I mentally scream. Something inside me kinda just snaps as I push Ruby away and get into a fighting stance. Wait, what's this stance? Can I even fight? Ruby looks at me confused.
"(Y/N) what's wrong with you?" She asks with a worried tone. What am I doing?
Something tells me I know what I'm doing. I go to kick Ruby, but she dodges and out of instinct I do a flip and kick her with my other foot, knocking her to the ground. I then bolt to the door and quickly leave the house. Looking around I see trees and that's pretty much it. Where the hell am I!? I decide to ignore that and keep running. I don't even know where I'm going or why I'm running. Everything I'm doing is out of pure instinct.
Soon enough I find myself lost so I stop running. Figured. I sigh looking around. It's all forest. I should've gotten more answers out of Ruby before freaking out. I walk around searching for... anything I guess. I look around and notice a bush rustling. Some creatures step out and growl at me. I immediately get into a fighting stance and prepare to fight. One lunges at me, but I roll under it then kick it in the side. The other one jumps on my back, but I quickly grab it and toss it over my shoulder before stomping its face into the ground.
It turns into dust and the other thing looks at me growling before running away. I sigh in to relieve. "I need to thank whoever taught me how to fight," I say as I begin walking around.
"(Y/N)!" A voice shouts. It's a girls voice, but defiantly not Rubys. I begin walking towards the voice, doing my best to stay hidden. I spot a girl yelling my name. She's a busty blond wearing short shorts and a jacket. I feel like I know her. I try to call out her name, but no names come to mind when I look at her.
I sigh walking into her sight. "(Y/N)!" She says hugging me. How many beautiful girls did I know? I question, not hugging her back. She pulls away and looks me up and down before hugging me again.
"I'm so happy my little brothers alright," She says squeezing me tightly.
"W-Who are you?" I manage to ask. She let's go of me and I take a deep breath. "You're joking right?" She asks.
"I'm so sorry, I really can't remember anything," I say rubbing the back of my neck.
"It's me, Yang, your big sister," She says a little agitated. Yang doesn't ring a bell either, what's going on? I sigh.
"I'm sorry Yang, I don't even recognize the name," I sigh. She goes to punch me, but I easily dodge out the way. She only gets angrier with me, but she manages to calm herself down. Yang grabs me by the wrist and begins pulling me.
"It's alright. You have to apologize to Ruby anyways," Yang says, clearly still a little upset. I laugh nervously.
"Yeah, that'd probably be for the best," I say. Yang sighs as she pulls out a scroll. Why can I remember useless stuff? I mentally punch myself.
Yang brings me home and I see Ruby sitting on the couch. I quickly rush over to Ruby. "I'm so sorry," I say quickly. Ruby laughs as she looks me in the eyes.
"It's alright," She says grabbing my hand. "But you owe me," She says as she puts my hand on her cheek and nuzzles into it.
