I got up early, the sky still dark.

I took a shower, filled my backpack some useful things.

I put my pocket knife in my pocket, and headed outside.

I walked to the dining room and saw the maids setting the table.

"May I be of some assistance?" I asked.

The maids looked horrified and refused immediately and told me to just sit at the living room.

The living room had golden sofas, a fireplace which had fire, bookshelves filled with books about this place.

Books ranging from Aemgipia, Pandora, Cordelia, and another kingdom which Vanessa and Pocapell hadn't mentioned, Amilia.

"Excuse me?" I asked a nearby maid.

The cat woman turned around and smiled, "What do you need, good sir?"

"Do you have a library around here?" I took a step away from the shelves.

"It's locked away in the Empress' room." The maid bowed. "Anything else, sir?"

"Have Lady Vanessa, Lady Pocapell, or Miss Alexandria woken up yet?"

"Lady Vanessa is out at the garden, Lady Pocapell is on the rooftop while Miss Alexandria is in the Music Room."

"Thanks." I walked away and headed for Alexandria first.

I could hear the violin from where I was walking, which made me know which door.

I opened the door slightly to peek and saw Alexandria closing her eyes as cold air swirled around the room with some snowflakes.

The way she played the violin was beautiful, but screamed sadness.

The song was extremely sorrowful, but at the same time you can't get enough of it.

I decided to leave her be, and quietly closed the door.

Next I headed to the rooftop to find Pocapell.

She stood up and stared at the dawn sky.

She summoned fire and danced with it, it seemed like a tribal dance, but fierce, filled with anger.

She viciously attacked sky, cursing.

I decided to leave her be, too.

I went to the garden last.

I saw Vanessa with the glowing water droplets.

She had cut her hair.

It was short, but it looked good on her.

"Hey." I said.

She opened her eyes and smiled. "Hey."

"Let's have a big breakfast and get the cure, we'll save your father."

The droplets evaporated, and she smiled as tears rolled down her cheek.

"Are we there yet?"

Pocapell asked for the sixty-seventh time in the past thirty minutes.

"Would you like another croissant?" Alexandria offered, for the sixty-sixth time.

"Patience is a virtue, like I said it would take us about four to five weeks to get there by foot." Vanessa sighed for the sixty-eighth time.

"So is this cycle going to continue until we get there?" I finally snapped.
