Previously: I remained as still as I could, but I noticed that I was shaking. The Puppet moved behind Mark and looked at me with his head tilted. I think that he was trying to ask me something, but I had no idea what it could be. Mark took off the torso portion of the suit. It felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Now it was time to take off the pants section and see how bad my ankle was. When he was able to get that off, I stood there for a few moments and that's when the overwhelming pain that was coursing through every fiber of my being finally caught up with me. Mark threw the spring lock suit across the room to get it as far away from me as possible, when I collapsed to the ground falling on my hands and knees.
"Y/N?!?" He knelt down beside me and held me close being careful not to hug me too tightly due to the cuts that the suit had caused all over my body.
"I'm ok.... Thanks to the two of you." I smiled and looked at Mark and back at The Puppet. Mark looked over to it and nodded loosening his hold on me.
"Thank you, Puppet." I could tell that Mark was still nervous when it came to this animatronic. His voice fluctuated with fear. I got into a sitting position that was a bit more comfortable to me, holding onto Mark's shoulder for balance and a bit of reassurance. He helped me by placing his hands on my back to steady me a bit. "I wish there was a way I could help you more, but we can't until 6... " Mark looked like he was torn between so many different emotions. Fear, anger, happiness, concern. I could only imagine what was going through his mind at this point.
"Do you know where any first aid kits are?" I asked noticing that my voice seemed a bit weaker than I would have liked.
Mark shook his head. "This is a part of the restaurant that I'm not familiar with."
My eyes grew wide. "You mean we're..." Mark nodded at my half asked question.
The Puppet moved closer to us and Mark and I looked at him. He pointed at Mark and motioned for him to follow. "But what about Y/N? I can't just leave her here by herself." The Puppet pointed once again and motioned for him to follow. Mark nodded reluctantly. "I'll be back as soon as I can. Stay here and stay under this." He grabbed a company jacket that was in the same box as the crank and placed it over me. "I love you."
"I love you too, Mark. Be safe." At this point I had the feeling this was the calm before the storm. Something told me that we weren't gonna be safe here for long. "Please hurry. I feel..."
"I know what you mean.... I sense it too." Mark followed the Puppet to another room and I heard a locker open. "Thank god! This should help. Thanks again Marionette."
I raised an eyebrow at the name. It sounded familiar. May be that is what the Puppet was originally called... but the far off memory wasn't within reach, so I ignored it for the moment being. I held the jacket close to my body hoping that this night would come to an end... that is... if it still was night... Neither Mark or I had checked the clock since we came to. Who knows how long we had been out before coming to.
Mark came back with first aid supplies and was followed by the Puppet. He helped me in propping myself against the wall. To be honest, it hurt to move... it hurt to breath... I was just grateful that Mark was here with me. I knew if he hadn't been there, I would have died. "Mark... Thank you for being here with me."
"Y/N, You shouldn't be thanking me yet. Not until we get out of here." Mark continued to patch me up and also made a make shift splint for my foot. After he was done, he looked at his watch and his eyes were the biggest I've ever seen them. "Holy.... mother of god..." He looked at me and then his watch again. "It's 11 pm... We've been out all day..."
"What?" I closed my eyes and let my head fall back against the wall. "I knew it.... I had a feeling that we were knocked out for more than just a few minutes. I thought about it a few minutes ago... What are we gonna do?" I looked at him and felt a tear fall down my cheek.
Mark looked around and that's when we both noticed that the Puppet was nowhere to be seen. No trace of him what so ever. "I don't know, but it looks like the Puppet decided to split. There has to be a way out of here... where ever here is." He began to bang on the walls to see what he could hear.
I knew that the more that I moved, the more blood I would lose and I could put both of us in danger if I did so. On the other hand if we don't get out of here quickly we would have to stay here all night and still be in danger. I knew I had to do something so I got up making sure that I didn't put too much pressure on my hurt ankle, lifting it whenever I got the chance. I knocked on the walls and checked every inch that I could.
I lost my balance and fell on top of some boxes, the contents of them falling all over the place. Mark rushed over to me from across the room and made sure that I was okay, looking over his bandage work. "You should try and take it easy Y/N. You're not in the best shape."
"I know but you need the help. The sooner we get out the sooner I can get to the hospital and we won't be in danger." I looked down at the mess that I had caused and noticed a bunch of paperwork scattered everywhere. I sat down carefully and slowly looking through all the papers... "On second thought.... This could be something that we were looking for... Here's copies of old reports... Look at this one." I handed a page over to him at it was dated a few days after the party where our friends went missing.
