Chapter 4

It seems that this month Cande was getting a lot of first's.

First time getting called to the Principals office

First time seeing a man's completely nude stick

First time in four years not to finish watching an episode of Jane The Virgin

First time getting arrested due to a misunderstanding caused by the fact that you supposedly "broke into" someone's house and "attacked" a friend of the owner. I signed, my elbows on the shiny metal table while my hands clutch my hair. Sarah was currently explaining exactly what I finished telling them half an hour ago... that I was not! a gosh damn stalker! did they believe me when I told them about the ad? No, but when Sarah started explaining the whole predicament they suddenly got all militarily obedient

Sure listen to the scary chick, not the one the size of your thumbnail

I've been sitting in a stupidly uncomfortable chair for the whole night and almost half of the next day, making me miss the most important class of my whole schooling career... which I promised Mr. Maverick I would be attending no matter what.

Ugh I'm really starting to hate this Logan guy

Not only did he say that he would be here last night and didn't show up, but he's supposedly too busy today, which meant I had to be confined until he came and confirmed that I was indeed the person he talked to on the phone. As if Being picked up like a rag doll and thrown in the cop car wasn't enough now I have to wait until the douche shows up to get released, that is if Sarah doesn't succeed, which I doubt, but still he's still a douche, a rich douche by the look of it

I waited for a half-hour more until the ugly green door opened revealing, one of the cops that arrested me. He had an annoyed look on his face so that was probably a good sign

"Here to release me now officer?" I ask, as sweatily as I could manage

His reply was a grunt as he sat on the chair in front and just stared, his soft gray eyes searching, and finally, after a minute of uncomfortable silence he spoke

"Mr. Bell your temporary living with Ms. Coplen right?"

"Yeah I am," I say tiredly

"And what exactly happened to your previous living arrangements?"

I sit up straighter leveling my eyes with his, well as close as I could anyway "I don't think that has anything to do with this"

I may be mistaken but was that a flash of amusement in his eyes?

This cop looked to be in his 30s, his hair was a dark brown matching with his eyes. He wasn't overly Big but he was tall, and his uniform seemed to be too big for him

Before he could say anything I stood gaining enough height to be nose to nose, but I didn't go that close. "I'm I under arrest here officer?" I say my voice taking on an intimidating tone... At least trying

His brow rose "Not at all Ms. Bell"

"Then If I leave will you or anyone officer here try to stop me?"

"...Not at all Ms. Bell"

I contain a grin and started for the door, but before I could reach it he spoke

"Mr. Paul must be quite attractive for a girl like you to be that obsessive" I stopped my dramatic exit and turned fully to the egotistical ass

"Listen Dove" I sneered and smiled in satisfaction as he visibly twitched "I already told you about what I was doing in that apartment , and why I tasered the naked guy, and you may have time to sit around and comb your hair but I actually have a life to save, and because of you degenerates I have missed the class that would probably save me from being kicked out of school" my voice cracked at the end, during that speech I just realized that it was all over "And I don't even know who this Logan guys is!" I finished with a shreek

The reason I was so confident to leave my family was because of the scholarship I had earned, I was used to pretending that I was dumb, like I didn't understand what all my dads cooperate friends talked about, like I didn't have a clue what all my brother's Yale drunks said in front of me, I did want my mother ordered me to, I laid low

I didn't take the attention off of my siblings, but then this scholarship came saying that I, Cande Bell was accepted to the 5-star fashion school in LA

But now that was over, everything I've worked hard for was over

Authors note:

I just wanna comment on the drama going on between the brothers. It's intense stuff, I just finished watching Jakes reaction to the second verse and ... I almost started crying with him

In this book, I may diss Jake here and there but just to let you know I do not! support the JAKEPAULERS Verses LOGANG sh*t going on, I may a not be a JakePauler but I do enjoy his Vlogs once in a while and I also watch some of his past Vines, they are hilarious 😂

OK now back to the book

This chapter may be a little boring but in the next chapter or two, The One and Only LOGAN and MARK "Oh Hi Mark" will be introduced
