Chapter 5

He was said to be as beautiful as a butterfly, as graceful as a jellyfish, and as delicate as a Princess, he was said to be a patient and understanding person, but I say we should have never trusted that shady manager

Sundance Head is a talented man, I'm not denying that. He was one of those rookie singers with an attitude that made you want to cut their noses off, that's why the crew nicknamed him Voldemort. He was an upcoming star who won the Voice 2016, this was a big opportunity for our crew but now were all wondering if it's all worth it.

Sundance Head's manager contact Sarah a couple of weeks ago about hiring this crew to shoot Head's Debut song, Sarah rejected the offer at first because rumors about his behavior circulated throughout the music industry, but Sarah being Sarah couldn't let go of this opportunity

And that's what brings me here, at 4:35 in the morning on a Friday, waiting on the very late Sundance Head, I had to leave in a few hours to prepare for my next class but the Princess was too "exhausted" due to the late night shoot last night. Well so are we buddy, exhausted doesn't even come close to what I'm feeling right now and a cranky Cande isn't a nice Cande

A couple days after the Police incident, Dove or should I say, Dave, the tall but skinny guy came and apologized. Apparently, he was the one who called the school and told them all that happened, and how it was all due to the misunderstanding of the police. After that Mr. Mav put me in a makeup class meant for juniors, "This is the only thing I can do for you Ms. Bell, if you think you can't keep up with those above your grade, then there's nothing else I can think of to help you"  is what he said, I still can't believe that I managed to get this far without my family, and I won't be taking it for granted anymore, that's why after my paycheck last week came I told Sarah I'd be cutting back on my Work hours, she wasn't happy but she agreed, knowing my reason.

45 minutes later Voldemort finally made his appearance, but by then I was already on the bus heading towards Sarah's apartment

By the time I got to school the campus was already full, unusually full actually. There were people wearing the same clothes with bird symbols on it, and words I couldn't read, taking a curious look around I saw the crowd had gathered around one spot but it was too far away for me to see, I was curious about what was going on but one look at the time and I was running at full speed towards the big building 

When I was a kid I used to be obsessed with Bill Nye's shows. Instead of watching Disney like all the other kids in my class I begged my mother to buy me all his episodes on Amazon, and after hours each day of pestering her about it, she finally gave in but she said that I have to watch only one a day because that's all she could afford at the time. I dreamed of becoming like him in the future, so that why for my birthday's and every Christmas I asked for little things, a lab coat, a magnifying glass, a safety glasses. For school, my marks never went above average but that was because I had to hold back and at that time I did anything my mother said without question 

That changed when I hit my senior year of high school though

My love for science it's still there, it's actually grown and I don't think I'll ever lose this feeling...I'm saying all this because not only was I about to fall asleep but I was about to fall sleep in Mr. Rilke's Anthropology class, a class that I had begged to get into. With an apologetic smile, I sit up straighter rearranging my books that I'd unconsciously made into a pillow. Not even seconds later someone taps on my shoulder, I look to my right to find a Jeremy Rodrigez, the guy who supposedly got into this school through connections, smiling at me
