Bree sat on the edge of the bed and looked down at Toya's cold body.

"That's way to easy" she muttered softly, her hands trembling.

"You'd think he would've guessed my packet was just powdered sugar..." She thought.

Standing up quickly she stumbled over her heels trying to distance herself from the body. She stood there just watching it, eyes welling slowly.

She had forgotten how long she had been standing there until her phone vibrated.

It did so a few times before Bree snapped out of it enough to flounder her way to the side table to her purse.

Fumbling with the disposable flip phone she almost didn't answer in time.

"You okay?" Han's voice urged.

Bree was quiet and her eyes darted back to the body.

"Raquel?" Han asked. Bree drew in a gagged breath and started to sob.

"Room number?" Han asked calmly. But Bree didn't answer. "Raquel, room number?" He asked again.

"96" Bree whimpered before dropping the phone and sinking to the ground.

She covered her mouth and looked up at the bed.

The door opened up and closed quickly. Han's eyes fell on Toya and drifted to Bree.

She jumped when he put his hand on her shoulder.

"Its ok, it's just me" he said offering out his hand.

Bree took it and let him pull her to her feet.

"Stuff works fast huh?" He asked unfazed as he walked to check on Toya.

Bree reached out and grabbed his arm. "What happens now? I mean, it's not like wore gloves ..." Bree murmured.

Han would have laughed if she hadn't looked so afraid. "Raquel, it doesn't matter, Dk's got this. Its more or less his hit you know" Han said.

Bree shook "you're ok with all this?" She asked. "He blew up your dream, and the guy was an ass. Come on let's get out of here" Han said.

He took up Bree's bag and linked arms with her. As they  headed down the hall Han turned to nuzzle her neck.

"Really?" Bree spat. Han rolled his eyes "I'm not insane, be cool, I told the front desk I was late to the party just act as though we just got....You know - done" he said.

Bree blushed feeling a bit silly of her accusation. But played the part as they passed the front desk and out the door.

After slipping down some backstreets they made it back to the cars safely.

Bree looked sick and was met with a hug from her brother, "You guys go home, I'll let Dk know" Han offered. Bree tipped away from Sean and shook her head. "I can't go home like this" she said. Han looked her over and then looked to Sean who nodded.

"Come on" Han said, he guided Bree to his car and helped her in. Shutting her door for her Han turned to Sean "ok so this was a bad idea" Said Sean watching his sister hug herself.

"She'll be ok, it's just shock." Han said. The two said goodnight and Han returned to his car.

Bree sat on the stairs in Han's garage Neela at her side trying to comfort her.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Neela asked timidly. Bree nodded but hid her face in her hands "what's happening to my life?" She muffled between her hands.

"I should've just called the police, and for all that talking I do - I'm not much better than Dk or Han. Or you...and We all talked so bad about you" Bree said now mentally exhausted she was just running off at the mouth.

Neela gave an awkward smile. "Bree'ra, bad decisions doesn't automatically make you a bad person. I became a wild child and left my two best friends for the feeling of a fast car and a good looking guy, but I'm not different from the girl you used to have sleepovers with" Neela said.

She pulled Bree into a hug "Its just....these guys you know? Knowing them flips everything around, usually for the worst and you can't get out"

Bree looked up at her  "you're a good person caught in a bad spot" Neela added.

"If that's true then, we aren't the only ones Nee" Bree muttered.

The two girls looked up as Do past them and headed towards his car. Neela released Bree and went to follow "call me if you need anything" she said.

"Good job, you're cuter without the goody goody act" Dk said giving Bree and wink.

She wanted to glare but was to afraid he'd decide not to work out a cover up for her.

"Easy, she's shook up - cut her some slack" Han said his sharp tone far less than happy. Dk lifted his hands in the air and chuckled "my bad, well you're out of Yakima service, good job" he said hopping in his car. Neela followed after leaving Han and Bree alone.

Han took Neela's place next to Bree, he looked at her carefully. "Yes?" Bree asked turning her head to meet his gaze. "He didn't - did he? I mean - You know?" He asked, clearly uncomfortable and though he looked calm, concerned.

"No" Bree exhaled unsteadily "He kinda just dropped and stopped moving as soon as we got near the bed." She whispered.

The two sat in silence and unknowingly Bree slid closer to Han, shoulder to shoulder.

"I've never seen a dead thing before, not in person. I mean like in movies and stuff, sure. But it's not the same." She confessed.

Han slid a arm around her, pulling Bree in he nestled her head in the curve of his neck. "I'm sorry, it was a bad idea. But I know it's awful and I'm sorry to say it won't go away" he said.

With a light huff of air he sighed and pulled her closer. "I know, it's the worst thing I've seen but not the only bad thing. There was a life before being a Boswell....dad thinks I blocked it out and told me I was adopted as a baby...But there are no pictures of infant me and infant Sean." Bree said.

Han held her tighter and listened.

"The pictures start at age 5, and I still have bits of memory. Smells, sounds, and seeing her huddled in the corner, black and blue...and red all over"

"Your mother?" Han asked.

"My sister, my mother was never around" Bree answered.

"And...your father?" He asked.

"I'll tell you  everything when you tell me everything" Bree said.

Before he could press her further, Bree moved closer to him. "But I just want to sleep right now and get out of this dress. I still can hardly breathe in it" she said.

Han smiled just a bit and got her to her feet. He went and got her a towel and tossed her a top and a pair of his pajama pants.

Bree stopped short of the bathroom door and looked back at Han.

"I'm sorry, for all I said before.  You're kinda a jerk sometimes, but I think that's a front - You more of a mister nice guy, under all that mess" she said before stepping in and closing the door.
