Owen brought his car to a stop in the parking lot to the docks, he adjusted his sleeves and watched as a herd of cars pulled to a stop. Ken was first to hop out, he stood a wary distance from Owen. "The Ferry?" Ken asked his eyes wandering to a sign "Closed for maintenance."

"They're closed," Ken muttered.

"Someone care to explain why were are clear in another prefecture?" Jane asked arms folded across his chest as he walked to meet the others congregating around Ken. However, he did not get an answer. All eyes were on the man standing before them. The air felt heavy and Sean's jaw was clenched so tight his molars hurt. "Owen Shaw," Sean said voice straining. "I was sure my brother had cleaned up most bad blood here. We never intended to hurt Mary." Owen stated calmly.

"Like hell,  you wrecked my sister's whole world," Sean said. "A tad over the top isn't it? This world of hers is nothing but a lie. It isn't who she is or who she was meant to be." Owen reasoned. "She is your sister."

"Say that again?" Sean snarled taking a step forward, "whoa! man wait -" Twinkie called taking Sean by the arm he pulled his friend back, "ey, we need this fool. He knows how to find her." He added. "You do know right?" Juice asked, "This bitch better know or I'm gonna kick his knee caps out from under him." Kiku snapped.

"Maybe everyone should just calm down and take a breath for a moment," Neela said.

"Fuck that, our girls gone, and then the Mario brothers show they're happy asses back up?" Rocko jumped in, "this shit is suspect as hell."

Ken rubbed his temples, "Look, I'll vouch for him for now. Alright?" Ken called out.  He pointed at Owen dangerously "But I swear to god if you're using us. " Ken spoke quietly. Owen raised his hands with a smirk, "You have my word, I have no plans on using you but I will be taking Mary back home where she belongs once all is done." Owen said.

"She belongs here with us," Sean said quickly. Neela gave a hard roll of her eyes "everyone's hell-bent on taking her somewhere. If you care so much let her choose for herself where it is she wants to be." she said.

"can't do nothing if the ferry is closed, what are we gonna swim across?" Juice asked. Jane looked to the guard shack, "well there is someone on staff tonight." He said.  Sean and Owen remained locked in a stare-down, the tiny smug smile on the man's face was infuriating. Sean's fists trembled, Neela carefully covered one of his fists with her hands.

"Sean," she whispered into his ear, "calm down, he's trying to get under your skin. don't let him win." she said. Sean's shoulders relaxed and he leaned his head to hers, "thanks Neela...its just...look at him." Sean said. "he's smug, but I don't think he's bad...." Neela cooed.

"well hotshot? with that jacket, I'm guessing you aren't pressed for cash." Jane called with a nod to Owen, "or should I cover this?" he added. "You get the guard and I'll get the ferryman," Owen said. With those words, both men headed off in different directions.
