Bree and Kiku found themselves sitting in a private room. It's walls were overloaded with framed paintings, and while there was a small personal bar and two sectionals, most of the room was cluttered with statues and water features.

"Geez, there's a wall somewhere behind that puzzle of pictures I just know it." Kiku said walking along one wall looking over the paints of various sizes.

"Are all of these works yours?" Bree asked, she stood in the center of the room afraid to move in case she would knock anything over.

Jane poured himself a drink at the bar before plopping down on the sectional. "Do they look like my work?" He asked. Bree crossed her arms "do I look like I know your work?" She asked with a roll of her eyes.

"I bet he isn't this good." Kiku said pointing to a giant painting of a woman playing a harp near a lake, it was very abstract but anyone could tell what it was at just a glace. "actually that one is mine." Jane sighed.

Taking another sip he tossed the two girls an annoyed glare "the two of you make my ass Itch just being around. You were looking for me, so what do you want." Jane stated. Bree matched his glare "you're attitude is like a whole literal butt load of itching powder, so you can't throw stones. Keep that up and we will walk out and you regret it later when you've noticed you've missed out on the golden goose of street racing." Bree said, her words heavy with warning.

Kiku chuckled "I wouldn't poke at the bear too much, she bites a lot more since...well..." Kiku stopped herself, maybe it was best not to bring it up. It had been a long while but, no one was ever sure how Bree was taking the loss of Han anymore.

"since what? you can't start a threat and end it." Jane said with a smirk.

"Since, Han died." Bree stated clearly, Kiku looked to her with wide eyes, she's said it without a single waver or crack in her voice. Bree's glare became sharper "you know who he is by his name, he was a bit of a king maker among drifters, his shop work was flawless and if you needed something imported he had the ties to do it." Bree said.

Jane set down his glass and look at Bree with a leveled stare.

"So you're the girl he ran with? Sister to the new Drift King? That little cowboy, will never be DK." Jane murmured. "you mean Takashi, DK isn't his title anymore. He lost it, and he was lucky that was all he lost for what he did to Han." Bree growled.

Jane could see her anger growing, almost like fire in her eyes. "Easy, I've no ill will towards Han. It's the cowboy I dislike." Jane sighed with lazy roll of his eyes.

"He thinks luck can earn you the title, so what he beat and ran out DK. every rookie racer has his visit from lady luck. racing is a gamble but anyone can tell luck from skill. DK was unbeatable." Jane said.

"you sound like a fanboy" Kiku muttered.

Jane scowled "anything but, but DK had my respect." he said.
