Bree stood at the airport, Dom was headed home, Tej decided to stay a few more days, he was having a great deal on fun.
"So how long before you come back to see us?" Bree asked Dom as they lingered about waiting the final fee minutes before Dom would board the plane.
"How long before you join us, is the real question." Dom said. "I know someone who'd love to get her paws on you." He added with a chuckle. Bree's smirk fell "I just...have something to look into here that's all." She said.
Dom raised a brow "like what? The last few days, you and Ken have been sulking around." Dom asked. "I would tell you, it's just, I'm not sure I'm right." Bree whispered.
Dom peered down at her, face void of expression as he gave a nod. "What you mean to say is, the two of you don't believe for a hot second that Han got out foxed by Shaw either." He said.
Bree looked up, eyes wide. "Er...how?" She asked. Dom smirked "I'm good at reading people....and the two of you talk loud." He said.
"It's not that, I don't think he got caught up in Deckard's plans...its just. I don't he would have killed him. Deckard has ties to me..." Bree said. She hadn't any clue why but she was afraid to tell Dom she was a Shaw too.
"He needs me alive, he cares about me. I don't think he would have killed Han. Also, he wanted revenge for what you all did in the past. He knows the others follow you - maybe he just wanted to lure you out. And it worked, and failed...so...he has him still or someone else does." Bree said voicing all her thoughts.
She took a deep breath and released it, brushing back her hair nervously "o-or, you and I just don't want to face up to the fact that we lost the loveable jerk...and Ken's playing along with me out of pity." Bree murmured.
"We'll and looked get to the bottom of it." Dom said, Bree giggled as she felt his giant hand plop down on her head and ruffle her hair. "One way or another, now let's not leave this on a heavy note. When I see you next, I'm ordering a car from you, kid." Dom said with a grin.
Bree looked up at him "yeah? And when is next gonna be?" She asked. Dom chuckled "I was going to say when you join us, but if I'm gonna be honest, you and I both know I'm going come back here just to drag Tej home." Dom said.
Bree laughed "He told me he wasn't leaving until he visited Beppu in Oita." She said "Whats he got his eyes on there?" Dom asked. "Onsens, lots and lots of them. You can get spoiled pretty quickly, he wants to visit all of the eight hell's of Beppu." Bree said.
"And come back home looking like one of the California raisins. Not that you know anything about them." Dom laughed.
Bree crossed her arms "please my dad as a figurine of one of those raisins in a box among the clutter in his house. Things are kinda scary looking. Talking M&Ms are fine but walking, talking raisins? No thanks." Bree laughed.
