P & G:
The week went really slowly, my heart was fluttering the whole time and I couldn't sit still. I had been waiting 7 days for this and now, I sat at the park bench alone. I glanced at my watch. 8pm. I poke my head up and peer around. Nobody. Good, I didn't want anyone to know that I had been stood up.
I got up, brushed off and began the long trek home. I kept my head down, mumbling a tune as I walked. I dragged the tips of my toes along the concrete path. Grey, of course. My house was a fair way from the park, several blocks down to the shops, up and over a hill and then, of course, through the tall forest. Only when I reached the lake did I allow myself to flop down onto the ground. I was tired and angry. But also curious. What had he meant?! Answer my questions? I didn't understand. Maybe it was just a trap so he could turn me into the police, or maybe...
I shook my head, there was no need to dwell on finding out the answers to questions that might not have even existed. Only, they did. I stared up into the sky longingly.
'I just want to go home' I whispered. I felt a tear begin to form in my eyes but I blinked before it could make itself known on my cheek.
'It's beautiful isn't it'
'AH', I jumped, and sat upright. A tall figure slowly making its way towards me, sitting next to me and laying there, staring up at the stars, the way I had before.
'Did you follow me home?!' I demanded, angry. This guy had the guts to leave me waiting for an hour on a frosty day, and then follow me back to my house? This was insane.
'I uh, yeah, no, um, not exactly'. I sat up and crossed my arms and glared at him, demanding an explanation.
I took him in fully in the light of the moon. He was tall and had muscles but they weren't defined. His skin was a olive tan colour and his hair was light brown. He was beautiful in the light. He now wore a hoodie and a pair of jeans with converses on underneath. He looked like he was my age now and he looked normal. A normal teen.
'You really don't have any patience' he laughed. I was snapped out of my daydream. I relaxed my shoulders slightly and laid back down with him.
'How do you mean? May I remind you that I waited a whole HOUR for you to show up!' I say, slightly annoyed.
'An hour' he laughed again, this time in a sort of disbelieving sort of way.
'Time is just an illusion, my friend' he said in a serious voice. I sat up again, tense, what did he mean? This welcomed another burst out of laughter from the guy. He was sort of rude in a way, but he had a nice laugh.
'Relax!' He said and I sighed.
'But I did want to tell... show you something' he said. He looked through the forest towards the shining lights coming from my home.
'Are you expected?' he asked. I shook my head.
'Not today, actually, I -' my voice is broken off as he grabs my hand and begins running in the opposite direction of my house, very fast, of course he was fast, how else did he manage to find me so fast after my outbreak last week? We ran, through the forest as he pushes me and turns me around to face another direction and all of a sudden we're running through the deepest, darkest part of the forest. I have been warned not to go there before, it's dangerous, apparently, it's where 'scary men' take their victims to... do stuff to them. I glanced up at the boy, still clasping his now quite clammy hand in mine and take a breath out. This was okay. Even though I didn't know him, I almost felt like I did? I trusted him.
My head began to become dizzy and I tried to keep my eyes plastered open, the forest floor was full of nature's potholes, rocks and animal homes all in which I didn't want to fall over or disturb. As we continued to run it got darker and darker until suddenly the only main source of light I could see was the glint of the boy's watch, but it would have to be reflecting off something? I gasped as I gulped in another breath of air, stumbling my final steps before the boy leant over slightly and grabbed my two shoulders in his hands.
And then we stopped.
Just like that. I realised I was staring at the ground, watching the grass waving up at me and the dirt squished under my feet. His hands were under my chin as he lifted my head up to his. This felt oh so wrong, but it kind of felt... I don't know I didn't how to feel right now. I was standing in the middle of the woods, at night, with a boy I had just met, everything was chaotic.
I looked into his eyes and suddenly everything else disappeared, it was just his brown, green and blue eyes swirling and staring back into my own dull green eyes. Then I blinked and the connection we had was broken. Whatever it was.
I watched him blink fast too as if he was also coming out of the trance. I was about to ask him what we were doing when he gave me a dorky grin and moved his behind him as if he was presenting something, but all I saw was the small clearing we were in and the dark tall trees surrounding us.
"What am I exactly supposed to be looking at?" I asked, puzzled.
His eyes opened wide in shock and his head whipped around.
"Oh shit, my bad." He mumbled, patting down his back pockets.
Then he pulled out a key, it looked like a car key. Was he pranking me, a car in this forest, no way, it wouldn't fit in the clustered tree's. He clicked a button and I was hit by bright lights, blinking and flickering through the darkness.
I stumbled back, tripping over a tree root and landing on my back. My head and eyes flicked towards the thing, it was still flashing. It had headlights like a car but the shape of it looked familiar, almost unrealistic. I crawled back, trying to get away from the thing. Nothing had been there and the boy had clicked a button and suddenly it appeared. This wasn't from earth, this wasn't the technology we would have made from Earth.
"Do you like my ride?" the boy asked, walking over to me, offering his hand, "It's pretty sweet aye. I got it custom painted and I really love how it can hide in plain sight. Really impressive."
I looked at his hand for a long time before taking it. He pulled me up and dragged me forward, taking me closer to it. I couldn't comprehend. It had a purple bottom and grey glass, opaque and had no way of seeing into it. I looked at the boy, then back it and then to the boy again. He gave me the biggest grin ever.
"Well let's get in and I'll explain everything."
He walked up the platform suddenly outstretched and laying on the grass. I felt my legs moving but I felt numb. It was like something from Area 51. Because I was walking into a UFO.

If it has the P & G initials above the chapter, that means Grace and I wrote parts of the chapters. If you want to know who did what, just comment and we'll reply. If it only has a P or G that means only one of us did the chapter. Hope you like this, and I've added the word count and vote count above. It's like planning goals :D
