Chapter 9: The Brother

A/N Sorry for haven't been updating guys, is just that I was in exams and I had an inspirational lack of creativity!

Jace's POV
Izzy, Alec and Simon leave.
I help Clary get dressed, because of her sore back of sleeping three days on the floor.
"You go," I say caressing her cheek and smiling "I'm going to stay and gather the blankets, and all"
"I'm sure it won't take long speaking to the Brothers, I'll be back really fast, Okay?"
"Okay" I say kissing her forehead and giving her a little push in the back
"Owww! That hurt!" Says with a big smile in her face "See ya!" And she was out.

Clary's POV
On our way to the library to see The Silent Brothers, I started asking some question like "What do you think they are going to say me, Izz?"
"I don't know Clary, probably they ask you questions about your mother and Johnattan, of what they did to you"
After several "I don't know" for an answer, I kept myself quiet until we arrived to the library, where Brother Enoch was waiting for us, for me.
"Morning, Clarissa Morgenstern, sit down" sounded inside of my head
I sat in a small red velvet couch, and Brother Enoch was standing right infront of me
"I Need you to tell me everything your mother, Jocelyn Fairchild, and her husband, Johnattan Etreg, did to you, so we can place the right and fair punishment for them"
Jace arrives breathing like had been running, when he enters I start talking.
I tell Brother Enoch everything, how Johnattan slapped me, when he threatened the life of someone I loved, my mother pinning me to the ground, the slap and the two days in the catacombs.
I want to cry so, so hard but I contain myself, I don't want to look weak, until Jace comes and hugs me then I cry.
Jace takes my head between his hands, and with watery, sad eyes asking "Why didn't you told us, why didn't you told me?"
"B-B-Because I was afraid" "Of what Johnattan would do to any of you" I say, my voice is trembling
"Don't worry love, we don't have to worry about him or your mother anymore" tells me Jace, in a joyous voice "Right Brother Enoch?"
"Indeed Clarissa, because of their acts, Jocelyn Shadowhunter and Johnattan Warlock, they will end their days in the Silent City"
"Thank you Brother Enoch, really" Says Alec.
After the Brother leaves Izzy says happily
"Well, I don't know you, but I'm going to order something to celebrate the recover of Clary's safety and ours, even though we didn't know we were in danger!"
