We reach the school in about 10 minutes. As we enter, my heart starts pounding all over again. My school experiences have never been the best... I glance at the group of people who me and Mags call "The Populars" Right in the middle is a dirty blonde haired boy, beside him is a girl with bright red hair. (A little too close for my taste.)
It's Dylan.
He is the cutest, most popular, most athletic, and smartest boy in our grade. I don't know what it is about him, but whatever it is, makes my heart feel like it's going to pound out of my chest. For a second, I think he's looking at me. I wipe my hands on my jeans, which I've found calms me. I realize he's looking at the clock behind me. It was stupid to think he would have been looking at me. I mean, I'm not ugly, but I'm certainly not pretty.
I decide to check out my phone notifications, when I feel a hand on my shoulder. Out of instinct, I grab the person's wrist and spin them around, so I am now facing them. Without losing my grip on the person's wrist, I throw my free arm up in an attempt to shield my face.
"Cas?" The person says
I lower my arm slightly, not easing my grip. Then I see their face... It's Mags! Wow... I feel stupid!
"Ohh... Oops! Sorry, Mags!" I say turning crimson red.
"It's okay, Cas! I found it kinda funny. It also taught me not to sneak up on you or make you mad!" She says smiling.
"Oh okay... Let's go to class" I say, still blushing.
