BEST. CLASS. EVER!
I get to sit next to my best friend and my crush! And, it's a class ALL ABOUT READING!
When the class is about halfway over, the teacher goes up and makes an announcement,
"So class, for your project, you will be partnered up and will do a book report of a book or book series of your choice."
Can this day get any better?!
"Your partners will be..." I kinda zone out, until I hear my name. "Cassandra and Dylan."
HOLY DAUNTLESS CAKE IT CAN GET BETTER!!
"Now, class, get with your partners. You can have the rest of the class to figure out what book(s) you're doing. GO!"
I look over at Dylan, he has really pretty eyes...
"What book do you want to do?" I chirped.
I already know what book I want to do, but he would probably say no.
"I was thinking that we should do the book you were talking about earlier," He says with a crooked grin.
The grin that makes me feel weak and make everything else disappear.
"Okay, but maybe we should do the first book instead, so it would make more sense,"
"Sounds like a plan," he says happily.
I was looking at his eyes, not to long though, and noticed they are a deep shade of blue-- a strange colour. (A/N anybody get the reference??)
"Hey, Cas?"He said with caution.
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if you could meet me in the library after school? I want to ask you something,"
HOLY DAUNTLESS CAKE, HE WANTS TO TALK TO ME!!!!
"Cas?"
"Yeah?" I beamed, still phased by what just happened.
"What's Dauntless cake?" he questions with the same crooked grin.
"Huh?" I ask, utterly confused.
"A minute ago, you screamed 'HOLY DAUNTLESS CAKE!' I was just wondering what it was,"
Uh-oh... I was thinking out loud again...
"Oh, it's from my book. Sorry, I was thinking out loud..." I mutter, completely embarrassed.
He laughs, a deep laugh that comes from his chest.
I feel heat rush to my face, I'm probably turning a nice shade of red...
