CHILLS

The music starts and I'm swept away already,

As is the other million fans that have come to witness

This spectacular event.

The beats of the drums vibrate the floor,

Sending chills through me.

I know what's about to happen,

And my heart races with excitement and anticipation

The guitars are added,

My body moves to the new beats.

Then she sings.

So softly yet strong it commands the room.

My ear drums nearly burst from the screams of the enthusiastic minions.

I am wowed and enthralled,

I can't help but to sing along, head banging and dancing.

The energy that erupts in me is like no other.

I throw my fist in the air,

Electrified by the chorus through the second verse.

This is my heaven,

My place of happiness,

My joy.

I mourn the loss,

As the song comes to an end.
