Unbelievable this is totally unbelievable, these people who don't even know my sister stood up in court and claimed to the judge I was so unfit to get my sister back. They didn't know me from a can of paint and they judging me, they look like the type of people that only wants to keep her for the little check that they get for her every month. It's sad that it's people like that in the world using innocent children.

I put my all into this trial and it'll be unbearable if I lost this case. The judge should have some type of sympathy for my sister and myself. I'm family, I'm what's best for her. I have a stable place, which is safe for her. From what I've been told her foster parents live in a neighborhood where people are getting shot almost everyday. Who would want their nine year old sister in that type of environment. I grew up around that and I don't want my sister to have to do the same.

"Did you hear him? You can take your sister home! You've won." Ms.Diana said running up to me.

I didn't hear a word he said because I blanked out for a while. At first it seemed as though they were winning, the judge was agreeing with most of the things they were saying. But I guess he got a change of heart.

"Thank god!" I said as tears poured down my face.

I wasn't crying because I was sad, I was crying because I was happy. I've finally get to be with my sister again. After all these years we finally get to meet up and reunite with one another.

"I'm glad that it turned around in your favor, your the one that she needs to be with. Not those money hungry people. All they wanted was the money cause that's all they talked about." She said shaking her head.

"Can you believe they asked for more money, claiming to help take care of her. No, it was for their needs, ain't nobody stupid." I said grabbing my purse walking out of the court room.

She nodded her head in agreement. "They'll do anything for a piece of change."

I shook my head laughing because that was true.

"So, when am I gonna be able to get her? Do I have to go pick her up or her case manager is gonna drop her off to me?" I asked since I missed out on what the judge said.

"Her case manager will drop her off to you Saturday morning." She said as we walked to the car.

"So I have to wait four days to get her? I thought I'll get her right away". I said confused.

She shook her head no. "I guess they have to give her time to understand the situation and to get all her things ready. Plus they probably have to put some information in the system so it's gonna be a while". She shrugged.

"Okay, I guess that's fine, at least I'll be getting her." I said as I got into the passenger seat.

"Where's my kody? I miss his little sweet self." She said as we pulled off.

"With his father, I'm trying this co-parenting thing and trust me it's hard. Like every single minute of the day I just want to know how he's doing and what he's doing, but Killa gets annoyed from all the calling so I try to cut back on it." I said looking down at my phone to see if he bothered to send me any pictures.

"He's fine, you just have to trust in god that kody will be okay".

"Killa could at least send me pictures, I don't think it's fair that he doesn't. When I have kody I send him pictures and updates on how he's doing but he act like it's hard to do that for me." I crossed my arms pouting.

"Stop acting like a baby, he just need to time with him with disrupting." She laughed pulling up into the driveway of my house.

"I told Jessica to meet me at my condo, you can stay at the house I'll just take my car and head over there" I said as we got out the car.
