God, could someone remind me why am I doing this?
It's not that Luna Valente is a coward. Okay, maybe a little, but it's only because she likes her comfort zone so, so much. And she will tell her parents about scholarship in collage on the other side of country, someday. Not today.
Luna is just shy. Some people think it's cute kind of shyness, some think it is weird and the rest don't know about her existence. And it is good for her, too much people, too much trouble, right?
/this morning
Today school started different, not totally different, but some elements were unusual. Luna and her best, the bestest, friend Nina went to the football game. They had better places since Nina was team photographer and she could take as many photos of Gastón as she wanted. There is of course benefit for Luna too. Benefit's name is Jake, he has amazing smile.
So yeah, game was about the start, cheerleaders came out in their little, tight uniforms and there she was. Her cousin, one of her closest friends, Ambar Smith. She is the school's star, like, the brightest Luna has ever seen, or you have ever seen, or actually whoever with eyes.
Ambar was the popular, Luna was the less popular, and by "less" I mean "almost invisible", however they both liked it.
The cheering routine had started, everyone's eyes on the cheerleaders and, of course, blonde queen of everything. For Luna it looked really complicated, but for her most of things looked complicated. She would tell you all what kind of moves have it been, however she doesn't know the names. She had always had better things to do than mesmerizing titles of cheering moves, so, who does even care?
But Ambar started doing some unplanned sequence since rest of girls started looking surprised. She had done some steps forward, then one at left (it is just to be sure she was on the center of field) and...

She had stood on her hands letting her little shirt slide down through her head. Ambar straightened herself up, took her navy shirt and thrown it to football's team captain. In front of all school, team and teachers stood Ambar in her white bra and uniform skirt.

Luna almost missed this sound, too surprised to say anything. What had Ambar just done?
/after school
She entered the McDonald's with Simón, one of her friends, by her side. She found her group with her eyes and after a moment she sat in front the Ambar. Luna wanted to ask her about today's game but blonde opened her mouth immediately.
"Have you seen me today, Lunita?" She couldn't understand how someone can be happy because of suspension.
"They suspended you, Ambar" Simón added, taking a few fries from her tray.
"But she got 500 bucks, guys, definitely worth it." Delfi, Ambar's almost sister raised her hand and high-fived Jazmin, the last of gold trio.
"Yeah, you both should try NERVE, Lunita, Simón. Do something risky once in a lifetime." She said it as she hadn't stripped of in front of entire school, but in changing room.
"Hey, maybe could we stop this talk?" Nina interrupted. She knew it was going bad.
"Come on, Ambar, I am spontaneous." Luna fought.
