FOURTY-ONE

     I ran through the woods as fast as I could knowing it was urgent if something was wrong this late at night. I threw open the back door startling my family who was sitting in the front room. "What's going on?" I practically growled still pissed of with what happened just a few minutes ago.
       "Britt?" Jasper's voice questioned before he walked into the room. "What's going on?" I said firmly for a second time. "We need to leave." Jasper stated. "Could I have an explanation first?" I sassed him. "On the way right now all I can say is that something really bad is about to happen and we need to get out of here. "Okay so when do we all leave?" I asked. "Us. And we're leaving right now I already packed you a bag." He told me as the rest of our family quietly drifted out of the room to give us privacy.
       "Just the two of us? Jasper first of all I'm still mad at you and your the last person I'd want to go alone on a road trip with," I snarled. "I understand your mad at me and you have every right too. But I'm doing this to protect you so come on please we need to leave right now." He practically begged me. "I'll meet you in the car in 10. I want to talk to the rest of my family. And I believe I have a niece of mine to meet as well." I said walking around him and out of the room into the kitchen.
     "Someone care to elaborate what exactly is happening?" I asked walking into the kitchen. "Britt!" Esme and Alice exclaimed walking over to me. I hugged them both and said hello to Emmett and Rosalie who was holding the baby. "Where's Bella and Edward?" I asked. "Bella still hadn't woken up and Edwards with her." Carlisle explained walking up behind else and hugging her from behind.
Emmett walked over to me, grabbing my arm and gently pulling me into the other room. "What happened?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I fired back. "With the pack. Something obviously happened. I can tell something's going on with you, Britt." He gave me that look that said don't even think about saying it's nothing cuz I know it's something.
"He kissed me," I whispered lowly in his ear. "Did you back?" He whispered/yelled. "Of course not! I pushed him off of me," I shot back. "Good. Now you better be going now Britt. Be safe," he said pulling me in for one of his best hugs. "I'd say the same to you if I actually knew what was happening," I grumbled. "What ever," he chuckled as I pulled away. "Bye Britt love you," he said as I walked away towards the garage. "Love you to, Emmy," I smirked at the nickname he hates. "Enough already," he groaned chuckling. I watched as he shook his head walking back to the kitchen as I went over to the garage.
I opened the door to the garage to see Jasper leaning against the black Mercedes. "Your duffles already in the trunk with mine. Let's go," he said swinging the key around his finger. I internally groaned before obeying and following him over to the car and for some reason the spark in me that still loved Jasper though it was a good idea to get in the passenger seat with him.

Ayy lovies!! That's another update for ya! So unfortunately we're getting to the end of this book. We only have a hand full of chapters left. I can't believe it that over a year ago I started this book and now it's coming to an end. After this I might not write another story for a little but in the mean time let's enjoy this one!!
