Danielle and Danny soared above Amity Park, scanning every single building for me. They couldn't find me. They had even looked at Vlad's, or Plasmius' Mansion. No sign of me.
"Daddy! I think I found something!" Danielle yelled.
Danny and Danielle flew to where she saw something move in an alley. The two of them landed near the entrance of the alleyway. There, Danny and Danielle were faced with a horrible sight.
"Aunt Sophie!!" Dani screamed.
I laid there, beaten, bloody and unconscious. As I regained consciousness, I could hear Danielle screaming. I saw Danny was trying to convince here I wasn't dead.
"D-Danny? D-da-Danielle?" I mumbled. Immediately, Danielle shot over and grabbed me around the neck. I cried out in pain.
"Danielle! Be careful!" Danny yelled scolding Danielle.
"I'm sorry Aunt Sophie," Danielle said.
"It... It's fine," I said. Danny yanked out his cell phone and called mom. A few minutes later mom, dad and Jazz arrived. Mom and Jazz quickly helped me into the car. Danny and Danielle flew home ahead of us.
When we arrived home, I was rushed into the laboratory. I wanted to see Danny, Jazz and Danielle. I wanted them to know I was okay. I tried to speak but I couldn't.
An hour later, Danielle and Jazz came running into the lab. They seemed very upset about something. Jazz started screaming and Danielle wouldn't stop crying.
Finally, Danielle screamed, "Daddy's gone!!"
"No!" Mom screamed.
"He left this note for Sophie," Jazz said handing me the note. I read the note and cried. Mom snatched it.
"Dear Sophie, I'm so, so sorry I couldn't be there to protect you. I'm going to kill Vlad for what he did to you. Love you forever, Danny. P.S. No on mess with my family. No one," mom read aloud. Mom watched me as I held Danielle in my arms and cried. She stared crying too.
I was scared. I felt like I was going to lose Danny. I needed him. Danielle needed him. Mom, dad and Jazz needed him. Sam and Tucker needed him. Everyone in Amity Park, we all needed Danny.
