"Sophie Fenton to Headmaster Stephen's office please? Sophie Fenton?" Headmaster Stephen's secretary called over the loudspeaker.

I groaned to myself. The other teens in my class whispered and snickered to each other. Being called to the Headmaster's office was never a good thing. Even if your uncle's the Headmaster. It was never a good thing.

I knew that all too well since I had lived here at Gates Ghost Hunter Academy for the past four years now. I sighed as I got up from my desk in Mrs. Goldfinches' Poltergeist Hunting class and headed down the hallway towards Headmaster Stephen's office.

When I arrived, I knocked and said, "You wanted to see me Headmaster?"

"Ah yes, Sophie. Come here. I have a letter from your sister Jazz," Headmaster Stephen said holding out the letter. I slammed the door closed, raced over to Headmaster Stephen and hugged him.

"Yay! Thank you so much Uncle Stephen!" I shouted.

"You're welcome," He said.

I tore the envelope open and began to read the letter from Jazz. After the first few lines my heart sank.

"What's wrong?" My Uncle asked.

"Dear Sophie, I just found out mom and Dad never told you about their news four years ago. We have a little brother. His name's Danny. You'll love him. He's so sweet. He looks so much more like you and Dad than he does Mom or me. Anyway I have to go. You know, school and all. Write you soon sis. Jazz," I read out loud.

From that moment on, I didn't speak to my family again. I wanted nothing to do with them. My parents didn't even tell me about Danny. For four whole years no less! I hoped they were happy. Because I planned to never return home.
