heavenly love // free verse
ethereal, she looked as if she walked on clouds
the kind that was sterling, silver and shifting at the seams
she smelled of freshly fallen rain
and the cool wind of the wilburry mountainsher hair was permanently shimmering, swaying in the wind
and her eyes withheld the very constellations
of the eternal galacticashe walks on the stars at night, hopping on each glittering light
sleeps on the moon, dances with the sun
and gracefully falls ever so often
to the verdant grass of the field behind my hometo hold my hand
until the morn
