Always be my birdy boy

As Robin turns the corner my stomach flips, he looks at me with a look of curiosity and my heart jumps into my throat, he doesn't know me and that hurts.

"You wanted me?" Robin asks Ricardo as if he's in charge. I stare at him with a raised eyebrow, why's he taking orders from him?

"Yeah, she'll only talk to you Robby boy" Ricardo smirks, "Think she might have the hots for ya" he grins, making Robin blush slightly and me roll my eyes, I love him 'the hots' is a thing of the past for me,

"Who are you" Robin asks me, I hide the pain on my face by looking at the ground,

"Blake Blackheart." Ricardo answers for me,

"Blackheart...." Robin mumbles to himself as if scanning his brain for something, Blackheart, the name Robin used when he first met Mrs Heliotrope and couldn't tell her he's a De'noir. Such a hard time in my life but looking back on it now it warms my heart.

"You really don't remember, do you?" I ask before I can't stop myself, his head snaps to me and he stares frustration clear in his eyes,

"Where do I know you from then?" he ask, clearly getting annoyed,

"...Old friends" I lie, "Old friends." I repeat, my heart pounding in my heart, "I used to call you birdy boy, remember?" I smile to myself,

"Well, you do look familiar.." Robin admits, looking at me,

"Why are you here girl?" Ricardo asks, sounding angry. I turn to look at him, forgetting he was even there,

"I can to ask for your help" I say, looking at Robin ignoring Ricardo and by the looks of it he's doing the same thing,

"With what?" Robin asks,

"I'd rather talk to you alone." I state, looking over at Ricardo,

"Leave." Robin orders, not looking away from me, sounding like the man in charge I know and love

"Fine." Ricardo says, head held high as he walks down the hall,

"So... What do you need Miss Blackheart?" Robin asks, sounding extremely awkward and nervous I almost laugh, Robin acted like this for the first few weeks of our relationship and I found it so funny,

"Well, Mr De'noir" I grin as he shifts from one foot to the other, it's strange how just talking to him can make me feel so much better, "I need you to teach me how to use this." I smile, holding out my bow and arrow.

His eyes widen as he looks it over,

"How did we miss that?" he asks himself making me laugh,

"Will you?" he asks,

"What do I get out of it?" he asks, smirking slightly. 'your life, everyone's life, the entire world'

"Com'on birdy boy, for old mates" I grin widely at him,

"How can I trust you?" he asks, valid question

"You wear that hat because the heat makes your curls go frizzy. You spend most of your time in the forests. Your father Coeur De'noir  never said he was proud of you. Your dick curves quiet dramatically upwards. You hate being called Robby. You recently learnt how to do a cart wheel and you're very proud of your new talent. Should I go on?" I ask, he blushes furiously and his eyes grow,

"So you're a stalker, great." he stutters out,

"Not a stalker birdy boy" I roll my eyes, "Can you hurry up and let me out of here, we're wasting valuable time" I say impatiently,

"...Fine. But if you try anything I won't hesitate to stuff you back in here, Blackheart." he gives in opening the door for me.

I grin as I step out, holding back the urge to jump on him and snog his face off. He doesn't know me, that means he doesn't remember the horrible thing I did and as horrid as that seems at least I have some more time with him until he gets back his memory (if he ever does) and hates me again.

"Let's get this show on the road Birdy boy, the fate of humanity relies on it" I grin, grabbing his had and heading out the dungeons, knowing the way off by heart.

My heart feels lighter being with Robin again. Nothing matters anymore. Even if the Gods do destroy the universe at least I'll spend the last days with Robin even if he doesn't know who I am.

Coeur was right, I can't even hold the bow. But Robin's trying his best to teach me. He's acting really awkward again, it's actually really sweet.

Set out in front of me is a target, covered in holes non made by me using one of Robins old bows for practise. It's been an hour and I still can't get even holding it right, Robins doing his best not to laugh but I know he wants to.

"Right. Dinner break." Robin announces as the sky gets darker,

"NO." I growl in frustration,

"Calm it. Why is this so important anyway?" he asks,

"I wish I had the time to explain."  I mumble, to be honest I just don't want to get into the details not only because he wouldn't believe me but also because I don't want to talk about what I did. I need his now and if I scare him off again I'll have no one,

"You need to have a break, you've been working all day." Robin says, almost concerned as he looks over to me from the fallen tree he's perched on.

"You go, I need to do something anyway." I brush off.

Robin hesitantly gets up and walks into the trees, I let out a breath and put down my bow cracking my stiff knuckles. This is hopeless, I'm almost at the end of the first day and I've accomplished nothing.

I jog towards the cliff, ready to see how hopeless with water manipulation I am.
