The long, hingedMoving beasts
With oddly shaped
Hard helmets
Bit into
The fragile neck
Of the thin warrior;
Its pointed head,
Powerless
Against those strange beasts,
Was pressed harshly
Against the
Disfigured body
Of its distant cousin,
Murdered long ago.
Unable to bear
The cruel tension
It unleashed
Its powers.
It sucked the souls
Of the beasts
And hurled them out
Through its metal-like head;
Strange markings
Appeared against
The body
Of the poor cousin.
Any guesses as to what just happened? ;)
**
For those curious:
The 'beasts' are fingers. The 'warrior' is a pencil. The murdered cousin is paper....
