All us girls are sitting on the edge of the black lake where we all hang out, and talk about stuff. "Um.. guys something is bothering me and I need your advice.." I start. "It's boy advice, isn't it?" Said Victorie who had just come down to join us, even though she's about 16 yrs old she still hangs out with us. "It is, but how did you know?" I questioned. "I had a hunch" said Victorie shrugging. "So what is it?" Asked Rose. "Do you like someone?" Asked Dom eagerly. "No" I said and she pouted. "It's something else, so you know Samuel, one of my best friends?" I asked the girls. "Yeah" they all said. "Well today Colin Creevery Jr asked to go to the ball with me" I started. "Oh yeah," said Kyra " I know what happened". "Anyway I turned Colin down cause I don't like him in that way, but before I turned him down I looked at Kyra and Samuel for advice, and when I looked at Samuel he looked so positively angry" I said looking into the distance. "Yeah" said Kyra "Then he just stormed out! I'm surprised0 he came to the Quidditch 'Practice' James was running" "Also during the game he kept glaring at me and was so much more rough with me, then after when we shake hands he refused and stomped off" I finished "What happened?"
All the girls looked puzzled, all except for Victorie. "I, know what's going on" she said "And it looks like all of you don't" We all nodded. "Well, I know what is" Victorie started. "So before you and Samuel became best friends you both had crushes on each other correct?" "Yes" I said blushing. "Well" Victorie who had not noticed me blush "You got over your feelings right?" I hesitated "..... Yeah?'' Rose, Kyra and Roxi smirked at me but Victorie continued. "Ok, so maybe he did too, well thought he did. Maybe he actually hasn't gotten over his feelings?" "Hm.. I never thought of that, maybe?" I shrugged. "Anyway I gotta go, Kyra you coming?" Kyra got up and started walking with me. "Bye guys!" We said. We walked up to the school and Noah Parker walked past and quickly shoved something into my hands, I opened it up and I saw black writing and it said:

I look at it and then at Kyra. I scrunch up my face turn around and notice Samuel storming away. I don't think twice I sprit over to him leaving Kyra over there. "Hey Sam" I say. "Hello Anna" he says stiffly. I take a deep breath. "Wanna go to the dance with me?" I ask quickly. He looks at me surprised and smiles. "Sure" "Ok bye cya" I say and walk back to Kyra. We hi-five and we walk to the library and on the way I tell Noah no. And as I walk around to the shelf behind us I see Fred enter looking flustered. I peek through the shelves behind us and see him ask her to the dance and she says yes. I squeal and duck so they don't see me. I sit on the floor and read Tales of Beetle and The Bard smiling to myself. Then I touch my hair and it feels more silky. I look at it and the ends have gone blonde, silvery blonde. I don't question it I just keep reading.
