A/N HI! SO SO SORRY FOR BEING SO SUCKISH IN UPDATING! I needed some time off you see. I was supposed to have my violin exam on Monday (13th March)... BUT ... it was cancelled. YES. FUDGING CANCELLED! Whoop whoop!

And I dedicated the preivious chapter to @Happysah because she actually took time to write me a long ass critique. I mean, HOW SWEET CAN SHE BE? I'm dedicating this chapter to @Happysah again because she was my first fan since I wrote this book.

And PLEASE read the author's note at the end!

Alright! Enough of me talking. Let's proceed with the story!

Jessica's POV

I took a look at the shoe rack. Nope. No foreign-looking shoe there. WHEW! You know what that means, right? Oh wait you don't? Ok, so here's the thing: my parents are fudging obssesed with being neat and clean so no shoes allowed in the house.

Some of you might be thinking: but Caleb doesn't know that does he? And you're absolutely right. He doesn't. But Boris will definitely tell him to do so. Who's Boris? Good gosh! Silly, silly me! I should have introduced him to you since the first chapter, aye? Anyway, he is my butler.

I took out my key, unlocked the door and entered.

"Miss! Please hurry up! The guest- oh wait no, guests, will be reaching anytime now!" Boris rushed up to me and said.

I nodded and ran up to my room to take a record breaking speed shower. I changed into a beige coloured crochet top and baby blue denim shorts. A little brown eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and just a teensy weensy bit of blush and we're good to go.

"MISS! THEY'RE HERE!' Boris hollered.

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I'M COMING!" I yelled back.

I tried to stall for time by walking as slow as I could. I smiled awkwardly at them when I reached the bottom of the stairs. I don't know why but I immediately felt bad for making them wait so long. My "host-ly instincts" kicked in.

"Ohmigosh I'm so sorry did you guys have to wait very long? It's my bad. I took too much time to bathe!" I rambled.

Ok, so it's not true that I took really long to bathe but I needed an excuse. Caleb snorted at the same time that Avelyn said "it's fine".

"Um... so would you guys need something to drink?" I asked.

Caleb said," Coke."

Avelyn said," Orange juice please."

At the same time.

So you could imagine the amount of glares they were sending each other. They already hate each other as it is and it's not helping that they keep saying things at the same time.

"Uh ok." I said.

Whew. I managed to worm my way out of some really awkward tension there. I wouldn't like to be caught in a sibling rivalry would I?

Caleb's POV

Wow. Even from the exterior, the house looks magnificent. A four-storeyed bungalow. The house practically screams "RICH ASSES" into your face. It's just this vibe that it gives out.

I knocked on their door and almost immediately, it was answered by a man in his late 50s.

"Good afternoon! We've been expecting you and your sister. Now if you don't mind, please take off your shoes and put them on the shoe rack over there. And just to let you know, we've picked up all your belongings from your old home already." the man said.

Avelyn and I put our shoes on the rack and made our way into the house. Their living hall is so frigging large. A crystal chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. I think just the living hall alone adds up to the total area of my old, cruddy apartment. Which is no longer mine.

"MISS! THEY'RE HERE!"  the man hollered.

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I'M COMING!" came the reply.

I'm gonna assume that's Jessica.

Quite some time later, Jessica came down. Yes, that girl sure takes a bloody long time to come down the stairs.

"Ohmigosh I'm so sorry did you guys have to wait very long? It's my bad. I took too much time to bathe!" Jessica rambled.

I snorted the same time that my oh-so-mannered sister said "It's fine".

Whatever.

Jessica then asked ask if we needed something to drink. Duh. I said "coke" the same time Avelyn said "orange juice please". This girl was really getting on my nerves. Dang, she isn't even that polite to me. I glared at her and she glared back.

Jessica then awkwardly walked to the kitchen. For once in my life, I actually understand. What she did I mean. That means why I understand why she walked awkwardly out of the living hall. It isn't exactly easy to walk out normally with me and Avelyn glaring daggers at each other.

A/N Hey there! I notice that I have quite a number of ghost readers! Aka, you read my story but don't vote or comment! I still love you and all but you can do me this really huge favour by just clicking on the "vote" button.

Anyway, I'm going to give a dedication on the next chapter. To who? The next person who follows me, comment on a chapter (any one will do. anything too. it can be just a simple "good"), or vote for ANY of the chapters!

Love y'all! <3
