1 ~ A Reunion

Present day (six months after the events of Frozen):

Anna's POV

I waltzed through the corridors on my way to the great hall. I was so excited! My very old friend Agnete had come back to Arendelle. We'd been best friends since Elsa shut in her room. I was quite lonely back then but after my parents decided to get me friends Agnete and I have been inseparable... she made me laugh... she made me always feel better. And I really loved her because of that.

However, couple of years ago it all changed. She went sailing... it's kind of weird, isn't it? I mean she's a girl and she should have just stayed beside me waiting the right man to marry. But she never was a girl like the others... she was so strong and independent at least when I saw her last time.

I really hoped she was that still. I had always dreamed I could be similar... that I wouldn't be such a fool and fall in love with wrong guys like Hans. I would be much happier, right?

"Don't even think such a thing. I love you just the way you are", I heard a voice behind me. Wow, did I really think out loud? I turned around and saw Agnete. She was wearing pants, that was new... and strange. I ran towards her.

"And who's Hans?" she asked while I gave her a bone-crashing hug.

"Long story, I'll tell you later... but may I ask first what on Arendelle are you wearing?" I almost shouted.

She chuckled a little, "I'm wearing pants and boots too as you can see", she said to me.

I took another look at her outfit. It was similar than Arendelle's usual sailors but it was absolutely more feminine. It was dark blue and there was white and light blue embroidery all over her pants and coat. Her boots were white with silver and matching dark blue decorations. Under her coat she had a white lace blouse which could easily be a top of some pretty dress. Her long light brown, wavy hair was in a massive brided bun in the back of her neck. She looked actually really pretty but still somehow it felt wrong to women dressed pants. "But why?" I blurted.

She shrugged, "Because I work with men... it would be much more awkward if I wore a dress in the ship. And these are so comfortable on you. I bet that in couple of century every woman will wear pants. With these everything is so much easier to do than dresses, believe me. You should really try!" she explained. "I think you'd like them."

"Yeah, for sure", I giggled, "We should go to dinner", I succeeded. She simply nodded and we went to the dining room.

Elsa stood in front of the table obviously waiting for us. "So nice to see you're back Agnete", she greeted her and stepped closer to us.

Agnete bowed to her, "It's nice to be back, your Majesty."

My sister chucked, "There's no need to do that, you're a friend of us."

"You're such a unique Queen I see", Agnete complemented smiling and we sat down.

Dessert was ready. We had spoken about everything but our plan and I felt the tension grow second by second.

"Do you believe in second chances?" Elsa suddenly asked looking at Agnete.

Finally, I thought smirking.

"Yes, I do believe people can change", she said and smiled to us curiously, "You can tell me now what you want."

We sighed at the same time. I coughed a little and nodded Elsa to continue.

"I guess you've heard about prince Hans?" Elsa asked.

Agnete raised her eyebrows, "Yes, heard the name. What about him?" she asked glancing at me.
