Hans' POV
It was the moment I'd feared since I learned to interpret my feelings. To face the woman I love after telling her about my feelings. How she'd react after hearing it, would she turn me down? Yet I, however, wasn't afraid at all. All I wanted was her to do the same.
I know she loves me too so don't make me regret the wish.
I sighed before starting my speech, "I barely know anything about the situations like this but what I know is you cannot run away from your feelings forever because they always find you - for one way or another." Noticing how cold the night had become I took her hands in mine gently starting to rub them.
"Hans", she made me lock eyes with her, "You'll be wed in couple of weeks."
That was right, I hadn't thought about Disa at all. "I'll back out from our marriage tomorrow morning, don't worry about her." I couldn't believe what I heard myself saying, love makes you do ridiculous things. At the moment I was feeling so light headed I didn't even realise how ridiculous indeed.
"That's no solution. You'd hurt her badly... plus that'd ruin your changes to pass Elsa's claim", she reasoned pulling away me and started to pace back and forth before me.
"That doesn't matter!" yelling I clearly interrupted, maybe even scared, her but didn't care. As she had stopped on her tracks I saw my opportunity. I stepped closer to her closing the gap between us, "There's only one thing I want right now." I want you to kiss me. However, I couldn't say it before a loud clank followed by the sound of broken glass was heard.
Agnete walked towards the the edge of the tower with a confused expression. Turning around myself I saw a light in a spire tower next to ours.
"How didn't I notice that before?" Agnete spoke deep in thought.
"Let's check it out", I suggested making her jump out of surprise. 'Okay, she totally spoke herself', I thought mentally rolling my eyes. Anyway, she still nodded starting to walk down the stairs. "Okay then..." I shrugged and hurried after her.
Agnete's POV
Our way to the other tower was silent and this time it was very uncomfortable. The unspoken words just hung in air almost able to touch. I felt my hands sweat at the thought which made me wonder how it was possible for one person to make me feel that much during one night. Seriously, I've been at least scared, amused, empathic, sad, happy, in love... wait, I didn't think that, did I?
Be that as it may, our sneaking around the castle remained me of all the adventures we'd faced together. It sent a warm feeling inside me and out of the blue I started speaking: "Do you remember when we got the wessel's cook jump overboard?" We'd really told him his newest discovery (red onion) had been, accidently, dropped to the sea. He believed the lie and jumped after it. I started to laugh at the thought.
Hans snorted, "We hid those vegetables well enough he didn't find them until we were safely distance from him."
I felt so relieved the awkwardness between us had wore off with that story but I still needed to hush him quiet. We'd already come to the staircase which leaded to the tower. I pointed Hans to go first quickly following on his tracks.
Reaching the top I heard Hans curse under his breath. "Wait here", he commanded sprinting out of the second door of the small room we'd come. I couldn't even think of answering before he was already gone.
The room was plain without any furniture apart from bottle-full shelfs which covered most of the walls. Looking around at dim candlelight my eyes focused on a thick book in the middle of the floor. Next to it there was a homemade looking doll. The closer them I got the worse feeling I had from the place. Despite what my inner voice told me I took the doll and a paper full of text under it. After studying them for a while I, however, found something horrific out of the paper. I glanced at the doll seeing something very familiar in its appearance. Screaming I threw the things off my hands running out of the room.

Hans' POV
As the room on the top of the tower came into a view I saw a person dressed all black running out of the door opposite us. I immediately got after them. Luckily, they soon ran into a guard who I ordered to catch them. Pulling the hood over their head I had to gasp at the sight.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked puzzled, "Let her go."
The guard let go of Disa, which made her lost her balance. I grabbed her by her upper arms before she'd have fallen and turned her to face me. "Why did you run away from me? And what were you doing there in the first place?" I frowed deeply looking into her eyes.
She didn't reach to speak before a yelling filled the air. I took my hands off Disa whispering: "Agnete." Something was obviously wrong with her.
"Should've guessed you brought your little girlfriend with you!" Disa seemed to remember how to speak again.
"I don't know what you're talking about", I said starting to walk back but before get to the room the door opened revealing a frightened Agnete. She was crying in shock, hugging herself. I wrapped my arms around her trying to calm her wondering what made her overreact like that.
"Hold her back!" Agnete suddenly exclaimed pointing Disa. The guards followed the command, of course, she was a princess, after all.
I, however, had to stick to the situation because I highly doubt Agnete had any proofs of whatever she blamed Disa had done, "Hey, calm down first. What is the accusation?"
Disa glared at Agnete who had evened her breathing ready to, finally, explain. Before starting she pushed me away from him so she could get closer to Disa. "She's a witch. And she tried to kill me with a spell... and God knows what she has done to you during the time you've known her..." she massaged her temples lightly as always she was stressed, "the proposal surely was one of her plots as well..."
I put my hand on her shoulder, "And you're sure about this because..?"
"The room is full of potions, there was a spellbook, and a voodoo doll that..." she gulped, "looked like me", her voice started to shiver once again.
Gazing back at Disa upsetted me, she was smirking at us ominously. She tilted her head saying: "You cannot stop me", this was followed by a hysterical lack of gigglings.
"Take her to the dungeons! And get Queen Elsa right after!" I yelled and they dragged her away. Even though I didn't believe in witchcraft she was scary and would've most likely hurt Agnete if I hadn't done it.
After they were gone I embraced Agnete again whispering sweet things into her ear. I knew she was much more upset that me and didn't want to go back to that room ever again but we had to pass it to get back into the castle. "It's okay. Just close your eyes and think something completely different", I smiled resourcing at her.
"How am I supposed to walk my eyes closed?" Agnete crossed her arms giving me a displeased look.
My smile brightened, "It's simple: you. won't. walk." I lifted her on my arms bridal style.
"Get me down", she muttered but soon leaned her head on my shoulder, apparently, tired after all the things had happened. I started to walk as she nuzzled her head deeper on the grook of my neck.
Appearing her room I glanced at her only to notice she'd fell asleep. Sighing I opened the door and stepped inside her room. Lowering her down on the bed I couldn't help but admire her beauty pulling the blanket over her frame. Before leaving I had to place a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you", little did I know about a pair of flushed cheeks and up curled lips inside the room as I whispered those three words to the dark.
