You hummed as you entered your bedroom, unaware that Betty had followed you up to your room. You and Betty had decided to get ready for Homecoming together but she was going with Polly– Betty didn't know Jughead was your date.
"You're going with Jughead?" Betty asked hurt. "I love Jughead." The blonde stated, staring at you, hurt.
"Betty, I love Jughead too." You sigh, staring at your friend. "I've known him longer– you only started paying attention to him this year. I'm so sorry."
Betty looked offended. "No, no you're not."

You had heard the knock on the front door when Jughead went to answer it and you knew who would be on the other side. The Serpents had a discussion about looking to Jughead to join the Serpents– and you were happy.
You stood in the doorframe as you watched them pass Jughead the jacket and him putting it on, his hair falling into his face. You thought he looked hot in his new leather jacket and you wished you had your own with you to match. It was a sight you were happy to see. Jughead now had a family that finally understood him.
You sent a look towards the Serpents and they got the message and left you two alone on the doorstep and you grinned, leaping onto him, wrapping your arms around his neck. You were happy that he was included.
"You look good in leather," you commented with a wicked grin.

Veronica held Betty's chin as she pulled away, her lips tingling from the kiss. Both of them had gotten in a fight, yelling at one another until Veronica ended Betty's rant with a kiss. Pulling away slowly, Veronica knew that the kiss was a mistake.
