YOU CLEARED YOUR THROAT ONCE MORE WAITING ANXIOUSLY FOR SWEETPEA TO ANSWER YOU. SweetPea looked up and continued to ruffle his hair as he let out a few heavy sighs. His eyes were glossed over — the salty tears begging to go over the waterline.
❝ You could've died don't you understand that! ❞ SweetPea stated as he rubbed his face trying to get rid of the evidence of him crying. He didn't wanna be weak in front of you — he wanted you to feel save so he had to be strong. The thing was you've always felt safe with him no matter what, and you wanted him to feel safe with you.
❝I know, but I'm fine only a scratch or two.❞ You slightly laughed as you pulled him into a bone crushing hug. His arms immediately wrapping themselves around your waist and holding you as close he possibly could.
❝ Just please don't go out at night. At least not while the Black Hood is still at large, please.❞
