Intro

Have you ever felt like you haven't belonged anywhere? I haven't for 5 years ever since my parents died.

My parents decided to go out for dinner on Valentine's Day and left me with the babysitter. My parents were on their way back and got into a serve car accident because of some reckless drunk drive. I recieved the call later that night and ever since I cant look at Valentine's Day the same. It's just...sickening, I will always hate it.

At the age of nine i was forced into a foster home. Three years later, I was adopted by a cute couple around the age of their late 30's. The first couple of weeks, I was very... distant towards them and was constantly in my room.

I started to speak to them within the years. I'm 16 now and a Junior at James Wit High school. I have no friends, I'm fine being alone after all, who would wanna be friends with me? I'm a girl that lost her parents and is abused by her step father.

Oops, meant to leave that part out. My foster father, Miles, has been a drunkie ever since he lost his job at the office. he blames it on me and says its my fault. He even said it was a mistake that he adopted me. He takes out all his angry on me. He's bruised a couple of my ribs before from him kicking me multiple times, I would lay there, in a ball with my hands protecting my head, crying, watching him do it.

My foster mother, Kim doesn't do anything about it because she knows that he will hit her as well. Scars are just marks they said. Its just memories of battles you've lost they said, but what you didn't know is that behind every scar, there a different story.
