~~~~~~~
At first, it was dark. And though he couldn't see anything, he knew something was wrong.
Hiccup looked around and suddenly, he heard something.
"Hiccup!
"Dad?" He questioned, and he heard his father call back to him.
Hiccup smiled. His dad was okay! He ran towards his father's voice, but as he got closer, he realized his father's voice now sounded frightened. His father was never frightened.
"Dad! I'm coming!" He called, running closer and closer. But then he heard a loud, familiar blast.
"No, No not again! Dad!" He called running full force.
But he was too late. When he got there, his father was laying there dead. Everything was bright now, but still unfamiliar, he didn't know where he was, but he didn't care.
He crouched next to his father's motionless body and already knew he was gone. Tears streamed down his face. "Dad no, please! Don't leave me..." He said, but it was no use. It was silent for a few moments, before he heard his father's voice.
"This is all your fault." He said.
Hiccup looked up. "What?" His father's ghostly figure stood tall in front of him.
"If you would've just listened, none of this would've happened." He said.
"Dad, no...I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean for any of this.."
"It's all your fault and there's nothing you can do. It's your fault that I'm gone."
"No, dad please!"
------
     "Hiccup, please, wake up." Astrid said worriedly, shaking him gently. There were tears falling harder and faster now, and he wouldn't wake. He began to mutter something, and soon enough he was yelling, until finally, he woke.
     "Dad!" He exclaimed, bolting upright. he was panting heavily and shaking, and almost soon as he was awake, he hid his face in his hands. Toothless looked at his rider worriedly, but knew by now, after this sort of nightmare, he didn't want Toothless' immediate comfort, so instead, he left to find Valka. Astrid moved onto the bed and put her arm around him.
     "Shhh Hiccup, it's okay, I'm right here, you're alright....It's okay." Astrid said, holding Hiccup close. She continued to hold him as she said her words of comfort. "I know, I know....I know you miss him, shhh It's okay, I know." She said.
     But after that he pulled away from her. "Stop saying 'I know' " He told her.
      "What?"
      "I said stop saying I know! Y-You don't know at all!" He exclaimed.
      "Y-You don't know, whatsoever! You have both of your parents! You always have! It's always been your mom, dad and YOU! You don't know! You've always been the center of attention! I've always been outcasted, even by my own FATHER!" He yelled. "And then when we finally reach peace, he finally loves me, and I finally get my mother back, IT ALL GETS TAKEN AWAY!" He yelled. "My father is dead now, and you don't have a clue what it feels like! So, No. You DON'T know, so stop saying you do!" He yelled once more.
      Astrid was at this point, actually afraid. She never knew he could, or would, get so mad. She hadn't realized how much all of this truly bothered him. She knew it was bad, but this? This was a whole other level.
       "H-Hiccup, I-I'm, so s-sorry." She started to stutter, afraid of what to say.
       Hiccup paused for a brief moment, realizing he had yelled at her, but he didn't automatically feel bad. He had been yelled at all his life, and it felt good for someone else to finally know how he felt.
      "Doesn't feel so good to be yelled at, does it, Princess?" Hiccup said, voice filled with venom.
      "I-I U-uh I-I-" Astrid stuttered, for once in her life, feeling terrified of Hiccup.
      "Just leave! Get out, you don't understand, Get outta here! Go!" He yelled.
     Astrid backed up towards the door and nodded worriedly. She just needed to give him time to cool off, and even though she didn't want to leave him, she was afraid of what he might do or say if she didn't.
     "O-Okay, i-if that's what you w-want, I'll go." And she quickly turned around and left.
     Hiccup stayed on the edge of his bed, breathing heavily before he put his head down after a moment, and cried. After a few minutes, he looked up, and realized that he was by himself. And not for the first time in his life, he felt truly alone.
                        "What have I done?" He muttered.
A/N: DUHN DUHN DUHN!!!! HICCSTRID FIGHT!!! *GASPS* WHAT HAVE I DONE?!! *Sees multiple axes, swords and a few maces and weapons* Heh Heh...I should run now, Right? Okay! BUH-BYE!!! *runs away to hide*
