"So what's our mission again?" Yang asked Ruby as they walked through a forest outside of the kingdom.

Right now they're on a mission given from Headmaster Ozpin to take care of a grim problem. And they had Zwei with them as bonus.

Mainly because Dr. Oobleck put in a good word for the Corgi, now he's allowed in the school. Much to Professor Goodwitch's displeasure.

She loves dogs, it's just she's one for the rules.

The black and red head just gives her sister a 'really' look and rolls her eyes. "Typical Yang, we're dealing with a grim problem. It'll take about 3 months" she answered.

"Why so long?" Yang asked. "Because there has been a spike of grim activity for the last few months. To the point we first years are given a mission that normally a 3nd year would take." Weiss answered.

"And for the fact we all did great on a exams" Blake added.

"She's right, but I have to say Ruby was better than usual." Weiss stated looking at her partner in question.

Yang smiles "That's because Ruby studies hard besides she's smarter than she looks. She just doesn't use it because of her happy nature" the blonde declared reaching out and ruffling her sister's head.

Ruby shakes the blonde's hand off and uses her hands to smooth down on her hair. "Yang" she groaned.

"You know I miss your hair long" Yang stated. "Her hair use to be long?" Weiss said curiously.

Yang nods her head and brings out her scroll. Scrolling down through some pictures she stops at one that was taken of Ruby a year before she came to beacon.

She was playing with Zwei on the ground and had black and red hair down to her knees "Yep, but after losing her temper a couple of times in the pass month, she cut it" the blonde answered.

Blake raised an eyebrow "What does losing her temper has to do with her hair?" she asked bewildered.

Ruby groans, a frown appearing on her face "Because, When I lose my temper I accidentally use a old Aura technique made by my family. And because of it, as a rare side effect to myself, my hair will spontaneously grow at a fast rate. I got tired of having hair that dragged behind me on the floor" she explained.

Blake and Weiss look at their team leader in total confusion "So your saying for some reason when you use this old Aura trick, it results in your hair growing very fast. But your the only one it effects in this way?" Weiss summed up.

Ruby and Yang nod their heads and said, "Yep."

"Well there's grandma Rapunzel" Yang stated. "Yeah, but Granny Rap has more control of her temper than me." Ruby replied to her sister.

"What kind of Technique does that?" Blake asked.

Ruby sighs "It's a trick where I released my Aura out of my body to push things back. So, it's basically like a mini sonic boom. But as a rare side effect it'll sometime make the user's hair grow longer."

"Mainly because your Aura is coursing throughout your whole body, that includes your hair and if your Aura is strong, over time your hair will grow longer so your body can contain it. Because too much of something is bad, same thing goes for someone's Aura" she added.

"So your saying that, this technique is so powerful that your hair grows longer so it contain it?" Blake said amused.

The silver eyed girl nods her head at her teammate, she looks down sadly "Yep, if your body can't contain your Aura, it'll start reject it and that'll end badly for you if that happens. It can result in paralysis, knocking you unconscious, bed ridden with a very high fever, or even death in some cases."
