The Misery of the Villagers

Haku looks down at his sleeping guardian, but the door then opens to Gato and his two goons.

"Some Jonin, the unbeatable ninja just got beat limping back home like some pathetic has-been."

He scoffs "Demon of the Hidden Mist?" he laughs haughtily "More like Coward of the Hidden Mist."

Having enough Haku stands up which made Gato's toon goons put their hands on their swords just in case he attacks.

"Drawing swords?" Haku asked both annoyed and amused that these two thugs thinking that they have what it takes to go against him.

Walking pass his goons, Gato walks over to Zabuza "Hang on a minute."

"Alright let's hear what you have to say about this fiasco and don't play possum I know you can talk." The gangster said reaching his hand to grab the assassin ninja by his bandages.

But Haku grabs him stopping him, the young ninja glares murderously at him "Keep your filthy hands off of him." He growled and tightened his grip on the man's wrist.

"Ahh, you're gonna break it!"

Moving into action, the two goons draw their swords but Haku was faster and took their weapons out of their hands and held the two blades at their throats.

They stood there in shock that he was able to move that fast.

"Don't push me. I'm in a really foul mood." Haku threatened his glare intensifying.

Gato growled in anger but didn't say a word as Haku throws down the two swords.

Once Haku was at Zabuza's side again, Gato moved closer to his goons "One chance that's it. If you fail this time, I'll cut you off. And there'll be no one left to cover for you."

And with that Gato and his men to their leave.

Once the door closed Zabuza glances at Haku "Haku, that wasn't necessary." The Assassin ninja stated as he relaxes his grip on his kunai.

Haku smiles "Perhaps but it's too early to take out Gato. He's still our best cover. Think about it."

"Their murders will draw their attention. Then they'd be after us again."

"We need restraint."

Zabuza sighs in annoyance, knowing that the young tracker ninja is right.

With Team 7...
Ruby winces when she sees Naruto fall on his head again, gaining a second bump.

She sighs as she jumps onto her tree but once she was at a certain point, she stopped and stood there.

After 3 minutes she tips backwards off of the tree and landed on the ground making a small crater in the process.

Dusting herself off the Huntress smiled.

"How come your not tired?" Sakura asked her.

"I have a lot of chakra. Besides my stamina is a little bit better than yours since I train with a scythe."

"What does your scythe have to do with anything?"

"The scythe is the most dangerous weapon ever created since you need to be both accurate and swift. One bad move could end up with you harming yourself or your allies. So, I have to train constantly to make sure I'm not lacking." She explained.

The pink haired kunoichi sighs and looks at the boys *How can they just keep going like that?* she thought.

She looks at their trees and smirks when she sees Naruto's *Ha! Naruto isn't making any progress at all. Knowing him, any minute now. He'll give up and throw a tantrum.*
