A Real Mission

"Sasuke and Ruby, We're at point B" Sasuke said through the speaker.

"Sakura, I'm at point C."

"Naruto, I'm at point A, believe it."

Ruby slightly chuckles at this "Go slow, Naruto."

"The target has moved follow it!"

Ruby hmm's as she quickly hides behind a tree like the others. "What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi inquired.

"5 meters. I'm ready just give the signal" Naruto replied. "I'm ready too." Sasuke said. "Same here" Ruby said calmly.

"So am I." Sakura said looking at the target with confidence.

"OK...now!"

All four Genin jump out but it was Naruto who catches it the target which is a black cat with a red bow in it's hair.

But unfortunately for Naruto the cat started to scratch and practically beat him up. And the only thing everyone did was watch as this happens.

Taking pity on him, Ruby grabs the cat and scratches behind it's ears calming it down. The cat purrs and nuzzles up to the welcoming touch from the girl.

And being a big animal lover she couldn't help but baby it "Oh, was the bad blonde mean to you? poor thing no one needs to be man handled especially one so adorable and sweet."

Naruto looks at the red hooded girl like she has lost her mind "That thing is not adorable!" he exclaimed.

But it fell to death's as Torah nuzzles his head against Ruby's. "Hey that tickles" Ruby giggled as she pets the cat.

Naruto growled and yelled into int intercom "Can't we get a better mission than this? I hate cats!" he yelled so loud there was some feedback.

Ruby growls and glares at the blonde "Naruto! don't blow our eardrums out you dingus!" she said angrily as she rubs her now popping ear.

But then Kakashi said, "To late for that."

Ruby could only look at the cat in pity as it's practically smothered by it's owner. She could literally see tears coming from his face in horror from being near this woman again.

No wonder he ran away, she would to if she was in his paws.

Naruto laughs at the cats misfortune "Stupid cat. That kitty deserves to be squashed." But then their attention were back to the Hokage as he starts to name the mission they could do.

Ruby eyes kept twitching, this is a insult to her profession as a huntress! can you blame her? after graduating Signal, she was launched through a forest invested with creatures of grim.

And this is the 10 mission in the last 2 weeks, they had and to say the least Ruby was getting a little peeved at this little kid stuff.

Finally Naruto protested "No!"

Everyone looks at the blonde had his arms in a 'X' formation "I want to go on a real mission, something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff! Come on old man!"

"He has a point, sadly this is insult to the training I had before I came here" Ruby spoke up calmly but her voice held annoyance to it.

Kakashi sighs knowingly *I knew this was coming, but Ruby is right. This is a insult to the training she has been given. Especially because of her family legacy.*

Iruka looks at them disapprovingly "How dare you! your're just a brand new Genin with no experience. Like everyone else you start with simple missions to develop your skills and prove yourself."
