📕pretty lengthy update, happy reading!📕

*Momo's POV*

Confusion seemed to be the first thing that hit me when I awoke at 6 p.m. on a Thursday.

My pretty eventful morning started coming back to me after my mini-crisis.

I yawned and began to stretch my legs out. Luckily, the brightness of my phone didn't seem to blind me as much this time around, and after checking a few notifications, I finally got up and decided to do something productive.

However, I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard a monstrous noise come from my body. My stomach was crying out.

'Holy crap, I haven't eaten!'

Nothing but a cup of coffee has kept my hunger at bay since this morning. I almost fainted at the thought of not having food in my system for over an hour.

I had to think of a plan of attack.

'Okay Momo, you can either wait for your members to bring you food, or you can go get some yourself . . . and then maybe have them bring you food too, so you can eat again.'

Coming to the conclusion that option number two was a better deal, I began thinking of places to go.

A cute little shop came to mind first. It was great: local, it has a lot of my favorite foods and was really lowkey. My mouth even started watering just thinking about it.

I rummaged through my closet in the hopes of finding something to wear. It was a bit cool outside, fall was just around the corner.

I found a pair of distressed black jeans and a red crop top. I eyed Jeongyeon's denim jacket on the floor and decided it would do.

I was slipping on my white sneakers when I noticed a text came in.

I took to the couch to read the message.

From: 💖God Jihyo💗

Message:

Momorin, we're working late tonight, we'll stop by to get some food later, check your phone now and then. Don't forget to rest and pack!💕

I texted back.

From:🍑Momorin🌹

Message:

Okay, work hard, 😙
You'll text me later.💓

Hitting send, I grabbed my wallet and started towards the door, checking to make sure I had everything before I went out.

It seemed a bit dark outside even for it only being 6:30 p.m.

'Possible rain?'

Stepping out into the remotely calm streets was refreshing.

Making my way to the shop, I figured walking wouldn't be much of a hassle since it was rather close. Then again, I have been wrong about this before . . .

As I walked, I took in the nice scenery. The route I take is discrete enough to give me some degree of privacy from any wandering eyes.

I could feel the uneasiness of my empty stomach and clutched my abdomen in desperation. I saw the shop from where I was standing just a couple of stores down. I kept my head down, just in case.
