*Taehyung's POV*

Momo and I woke up to the sound of giggling and shuffling. The guys had come back from their practice and found us asleep together on the couch.

It was awkward, I'll admit, but not as awkward as when they noticed Momo wasn't wearing any pants.

Like the little school boy's they were, their eyes grew wide, their cheeks turned red, and their snickering mouths shut in an instant.

Namjoon and Jin ushered them out of the living room before anything else could happen.

Momo was a little red herself but started to gather her things to leave. I quickly draped her in a blanket and walked her out to our van.

Jin offered to drive me and Momo back to her dorm since we didn't want to disturb our manager with something as awkward and complex as this. Plus, I didn't think he would necessarily approve of the situation.

I joined Momo in the back of the van while Jin took to the wheel and talked our ears off. We didn't seem to mind it.

Momo and I sat together and listened to Jin's awful jokes.

She traced the crevices of my hand over and and over again, like she was scared it would disappear if she forgot what it looked like. Her heartbeat filled my ears and I clasped on to her hands, afraid now too.

I wondered how I managed to reach this point with her. We became so helpless.

The very few times a was with her, my heart couldn't rest. I wondered what she felt whenever we were together, even intimate, like this.

Before we knew it, a familiar building appeared in the windshield. She shuffled around in our seat, getting ready to leave.

For a moment, Momo looked up at me, with her beautiful, big, soft eyes.

She was confused as to how to say goodbye to me.

Everything happened so suddenly, but I could make out Momo's lips graze my cheek before she stepped out of the car.

Although I'm selfish, I knew she had to go.

Her hand rose, signaling her goodbye, I waved back but refused to say the words out loud.

She had said goodbye to the other two, but I couldn't make much out of it. I wasn't paying attention.

This wouldn't be my last encounter with her, or at least I hoped not.

In all honesty, we were still strangers, connected by the fact that we shared a fondness for each other.

Whatever the case, I just wanted to get lost in her again.

Jin took a longer route back to the dorm. I like to assume he thought it would bring me ease. I was thankful either way.

Jimin was the first to say something when we got back.

"You guys looked so cute." His voice sounded like a forced cuteness.

"Ah, shut it, shorty." I retorted.

"Ooh, Tae, no need to get so feisty." Youngi smirked.

"So . . . did anything . . . happen?" Namjoon said in a quiet, nervous voice.

"No!" I knew where he was going with that question.

"All we did was eat soup, talk, and accidentally fall asleep!"

I mean, it was true.

We did eat soup, and we did talk, but they didn't need to know about the rest.
