*Momo's POV*

What was this feeling?

I just found out who I was, something that I've wanted ever since I found out I was an orphan, and now look at me. I'm not sure if I can handle this.

The worst thing I prepared myself for was literally nothing; to find an old abandoned building with no files, no people, and no answers. But this wasn't just nothing. This was too much for one person to handle.

So what now?

Who's going to save me from this mess?

"Momo, are you okay?" I could feel hands on my shoulder, shaking me, waiting for a response. But I couldn't formulate any words.

My heart wanted to spill out of my chest and release all of the tension I've been holding in, but my brain told me I would just end up hurting myself and other people.

The faces of my members flashed before me, talking to me, staring at me, looking for a sign that I was here. But I wasn't, not really, not anymore.

Their worried eyes met my hollow ones and all I could do was blink and cry.

The next thing I knew, the door of the orphanage opened and closed behind me. We were met with two men dressed in dark clothing that had similar cold and blank expressions on their face.

Mr. Oshiro's old, sad eyes sent me his last signals of hope. His last words still echoed in my mind, tainting it with trust.

"You are the new hope child; you will bring us peace."

He wasn't as broken down as he was whenever we first met him, he had sparked an internal revolution within himself. It seemed we had different reactions to this news.

My newly found uncle's eyes met mine. I could see parts of myself in his face: the same low, slightly bridged nose, the same eyes, although his seemed slightly more aged than mine, and drearier.

But before I could come to anymore familial conclusions, the girls and I were lead out into the street and away from the orphanage.

Mr. Oshiro finished speaking to my uncle and turned to us. He gave a full bow and a half hearted smile, knowing that the other half of his heart had fallen somewhere years ago.

Instead of the empty street that lead us here, we were met with a trail of black cars and men dressed in dark clothing, similar to the one's that we saw earlier.

My uncle walked out and greeted one of the men. He stood, stern-faced and saluted him. Kaito started speaking to him and finally turned back to us. He pointed me out and looked back at the man. He nodded and saluted once more until walking over to one of the cars in the line and opened the door.

"It's time for us to go, I need to have a serious conversation with your employer." Kaito looked back at us and started walking to the car.

Sana tugged at my arm, trying to get my attention while Nayeon and Jeongyeon told my uncle where we were staying. They walked in front of us, exchanging worried glances.

When we reached the black SUV, it was clear Jungyeon still reserved her hesitations, but Nayeon's push was enough to get her inside. Sana and Nayeon tried everything in their power to try to get me to say anything, while Jeongyeon texted the other girls to get to the hotel immediately.

I was trying so hard to say something. I tried to mumble out an "I'm sorry", or even a "Hello" to properly introduce myself to my uncle.

The problem was that he wasn't just an uncle. He was some royal recluse with family issues, the worst part being that I was his niece with, more or less, the same problems.
