Where were we last? Oh yeah, we need to finish up the first day of your apprenticeship.

I don't own anything.
==========================================
The day is finally over. It was long and exhausting but you still enjoyed it. You and Krennic return to his office around 20:50. As soon as the door is closed, Krennic turns on his heel and faces you. He studies you for a moment and whatever he's thinking, he sure doesn't make it obvious. You try to read him anyway, though you doubt you'll ever figure out what his mind is on.

After a moment or two of staring, he takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. "Well (Name), I must say I am quite ecstatic you are my apprentice. You've shown yore capable of more than I thought you would be."

Ecstatic? That's a strong descriptive word. You can't help but frown, and in response to your expression, Krennic becomes clearly confused. Besides ecstatic, Krennic said something quite out of character, or at least why you know of him. Maybe you weren't hearing things correctly so you confirm with him. "Did you just call me by my first name?" You ask. Your suspicions are confirmed when he seems shocked and then pretend to be just as confused as you. "I didn't know we were already on first name terms."

"Don't take any offense in my use of it," He responds. Now it's your turn to be shocked. Again, this seems to be out of character for Krennic. Or was this the other side of him that he rarely showed. Was he... teasing you?

Krennic waves his hand dismissively. "You're free to go whenever, (Miss/Mr.) (L/Name). I expect to see you tomorrow in my office, one minute earlier than today."

You can't help but smile. "Will do, sir!" You say and salute. "Good night, sir." Then you leave the room.

You head back to the sleeping quarters. You have to share a room with six other people (probably because the ship ran out of room for separate bedrooms years before you came). It's not the worst thing in the world. All six of you have pretty good friends and by the time you get into the room, four of them are asleep. The fifth and only one awake is the crazy Mon Calamari friend of yours, Felici Haz. Felici is kind of weird and seems to have nothing set in stone for their life. You aren't even sure what gender they were. Some days it was a female, other days it was a male, and sometimes it was both or neither.

"So! How was he?" Felici hisses from across the room. "Was he terrifying or terrifying hot?"

"What?" You say. You heard Felici clearly, you just didn't know what to respond.

"You heard me." Felici rolls out of bed and walks over. "Was he terrifying?"

"At times, yes."

"Was he terrifyingly hot?"

"He's way past his prime, Felici! Plus, he's my boss. And we shouldn't be talking about him like this behind his back."

"Just askin'." Felici climbs back into bed. You crawl up the ladder to the upper bunk above Felici where you sleep and roll to your side. You set your watch alarm for 05:30 and fall asleep relatively quick.

Your alarm blared right on cue and you rouse yourself and get ready for the day. You're the first one up out of your friends , which is probably a good thing. At least it means you won't be late. And you can get to the shower first. You take the two and a half hour time to eat, wash up, and do the room chores (it seems like your roommates piled their chores onto you) before you go to Krennic's. You arrive at the door at 07:58. Unsure if you should go in yet or not, you wait outside until eight strikes. Then you head in.
