Look how good I am at staying on schedule... I'm kidding. I'm horrible.
A big shoutout to ChloePetiteReveuse , who is doing a French Translation of The Officer! Another reason to start learning a fifth language.
No seriously, I've started learning about five languages and I'm still not fluent in any of them.
Aside the point, please give them some support for the work they put in to translate and if you can read French, well bonus points to you!
Quick note before we start: I will say that Krennic is older than the reader but if you're not, just flip older to younger and BOOM! Magic!
I don't own anything. But I do own the awesome title name (that's probably my favorite title name I've come up with as of yet).
========================================
"(Name)! (Name)!"You groan as you feel your body being shaken. Why the hell do you have to get up now? "Nnngghh..." you mumble.
"Come on, (Name). Wake up!" You hear Orson say. It suddenly occurs to you he could be waking you up because of an emergency. Though your body is quite reluctant, you force yourself awake.
"What is it, Orson?" You mutter. "Is there an emergency?"
He looks at you, surprised. "No, of course not. I just thought it might be nice to watch the sunrise together."
Screw the sunrise. You could have slept on a little longer. However, there's a boyish look to Orson's face that makes you say "Alright."
Orson leads you across the camp area where the four death troopers are dozing. None of them stir as you pass. You follow Orson for a few minutes away from the camp area to a small hill. There, on the hill, Orson decides he's had enough walking and stops abruptly. Your eyes gaze across the alley to the blue mountains where the sun is peeking over the tops. Wait a second... a green sun?
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He asks.
You had ever chance to make this a tender moment. And yet... "Why is the sun green?" You say. As soon as the words slip from your mouth, you immediately regret them. How much more stupid can you get in front of him?
Krennic hesitates a little, his eyes fixed on the sun (not straight on, hopefully). He seemed at a loss of words and his only answer: "I'm not sure. But I believe it's the natural sunrise for this planet."
You hope it is. It could be a giant green laser beam from a superweapon and you and Orson were unaware of the danger. But it was arcing over the horizon too naturally to seem like the laser of a superweapon so you told your imagination to stop running away.
The quiet moment spread between you and Orson is probably one of the most relaxing times you've ever had. But it comes all too quickly to an end. Once the sun is part way over the horizon, it rises with an insane amount of speed. You could watch it rise forever, however Krennic has other plans. He gently pushes your head off his shoulder (you must have leaned against him at some point). "We'll get more time alone later on, (Name). For now, I need to make sure my troops haven't killed each other."
"Why do they act like that?" You ask.
"Quirks," He responds. "Just like how I don't drag you out to the deck of the Star Destroyers each morning to watch a planet rotate around a star."
