~Camila's POV~

'No. This isn't real. This can't be real' I keep repeating to myself, knowing its not doing any good. I broke down crying on the floor, also hearing sobs from the others. Dinah crouched down and wrapped her arms around my petite body, trying to stay strong for me and trying not to cry herself. "No! Let go of me Dinah! Fuck let me...go!!" I tried to get out of her grip, but she tightened and I finally gave up and cried on her shoulder. Drew stifled his cries and turned on the news channel "They're doing a news report about it" he said

"The tragic accident that shocked the nation, the sinking of European cruise ship 'S.S. Max Jupiter' which held more than 12,000 people, half of which were American tourists. Including pop stars Keaton Stromberg of Emblem3 and Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony. Our prayers go out to those affected. A rescue team was sent out just after the wreck, 42 bodies have been recovered only few have been identified. The ship sunk off the coast of Denmark, 3 of the ships' many lifeboats were found in a small-southern Norway town called 'Stavanger'. 2 survivors were interviewed:

The girls' and I gasped, that's Vero and Lucy! They were on that ship with Lauren!

"We were just at the indoor pool" said Vero "Then the emergency alarms sounded. The captain spoke on the P.A. system and said that we need to evacuate to the nearest lifeboats available". "I was told the ship hit a huge reef and it was so big, it damaged the one of the ships' main rudders" Lucy added.

They interview ended. "Vero and Lucy are alive, maybe they'll know what happened to Lauren I said wiping my tears "We....we can take...take" I say taking a breath "a flight...to..Norway talk to...". "Mila breathe. Breathe" said Ally, "NO I WILL NOT FUCKING BREATHE" I say, tears once again stumble down my face "MY FIANCÉ....Lauren....I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF SHE'S ALIVE RIGHT NOW! SO DON'T FUCKING TELL ME TO CALM DOWN OR BREATHE OK". Ally looked really taken back at me yelling at her like that, "Camila..." Dinah started, "Don't touch me" I sassed, slapping her arm away from me.

I stomped to mine and Lauren's room. I slammed the door, the sound echoing through the now silent only filled with sadness, house and locked it. I laid on my stomach and cried a river, I grabbed my phone from my pocket and dialed a familiar number. I knew no one would answer, I just want to hear her voice. "Hi, you've reached Lauren" said the answering machine in her angelic voice, making me cry even harder "You know what to do, just leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Byee!".

In this time, I've lost all sense of pride. I just want her back, I just want to know if she's alive. I've called her number 1000 times, hearing her voice makes me a little better but breaks my heart even more.

I stare aimlessly at the ceiling, and crying into Lauren's pillow, which masks her scent. I feel so numb and alone without her, almost like I'm part of the other side.

I want the room to swallow me whole, 'cause I can't help but wonder. If I had one day. One more day.

"Lauren..." I say into thin-air "Why did you have to go? I....I don't even...even know if you're up there. Lauren, just please come back to me. I love you, baby come back to me please" I sob.

-few days later-

"Mila come out!" said Normani "You need to eat". For the first time ever, I don't care about food. "Camila!" Normani knocked again, "We're all grieving over Lauren. I know, but what if she's still out there?". "Mani...lets just give Camila her space" I hear Dinah say.

I haven't eaten, I haven't showered, I haven't done anything except go to the bathroom and lay on this bed. I scold myself to stand up and look out the window, bad mistakes there. A sea of paparazzi is camped out outside of my gates. I groan, close the window and plopped myself on the bed again, looking up at the collage of Polaroid pictures of me and the girls, 1D, E3, little mix, Demi and Cher but mostly of Lauren and I.

I refuse to let the tears flow, but they come anyway. She still might be out there, I keep telling myself.

I took out my phone and dialed the only person I knew who had connections in Norway. Simon. "Camila! I heard about what happened I--", "Simon I need you to give me the number of every single business in Stavanger, Norway".

I wrote down every number he gave me and called each one till they put me on the phone with the hospital that's treating and healing all 50 survivors found. "Hello?...Yes....No...I---can I please speak with Veronica Iglesias?", "ah okiee" said the lady.

"Hello?"

"Vero oh my god"

"Camila? Is this you?"

"Yeah"

"I'm guessing you came to talk about Lauren"

"Yeah I did"

"Is she there with you?" I asked hopefully

"Camila....you know...I..uh"

"Answer.Me.Is.She.There".

"No she isn't".

I covered my mouth to reserve my cries of devastation. "Do you know what happened to her?" I asked muffled.

Vero took a deep breath and explained, "Lauren, Lucy, Alexa, Luis and I were heading to the lifeboat right next to the docks, the rest of our friends went to another one. When one of the crew members were helping us get on the boat, Lauren said she forgot something and had to get it. I tried to stop her, I really did Camila. But Lauren....she uh" I can hear Vero trying to hold back tears "...she just took off. I hadn't seen her since. I'm really sorry Cami---"

I cut her off by hanging up. "UUUGGHHHH AHHHUGHHH FUCK!". I grab my lamp and smash it against the wall, I did the same thing with the 2 vases. "No...Lauren" I had my back against the wall, slowly falling down to the ground. "Lauren....NO!! No no no no. This isn't happening".

So, she really is gone. Lauren, the love of my life is gone.

The next chapter is a flashback of what REALLY happened to Lauren and Keaton that night and how they fell to their undoing. ;) stay tuned
