A sudden embarrassment came upon me. I felt like I was being judged by Clarke, like I was a little girl who said things that I shouldn't have. But why? I was with Baizen, what does he expect?
"What do you mean you don't think we're friends?" I asked accusingly. I was angry at him and my feelings towards Baizen. I don't know what the hell was going on.
"I. I feel like we've grown closer in the way we talk. I've known Baizen most of my life but I can't help feeling like I've known you for longer. Like we were meant to meet." I was startled. I was flabbergasted but all I could get out was: "So you're telling me we're almost step siblings and we get on really well. That's it Clarke, what else are you thinking other than that?!" I knew what he meant. I knew he loved the kiss at Grace's and there was a spark there but I couldn't find the words to tell him that.
