Although I tried to forget the kiss with Clarke, I couldn't. Yes it was a game but a spark came with it. I genuinely had goosebumps whilst kissing him and I dreamt about it the night after. Baizen was such a good boyfriend and he made me feel so good that I couldn't get my head around the whole situation.
For an hour the next day, Saturday, I tried to make a proper decision on how I felt about my actions:
- I absolutely adored Baizen and he feels the same way about me.
- I can never see us separated.
- Clarke was just my mums boyfriend's son, he wasn't my step brother yet.
- Clarke and I kissed as game at a drunk party.
- I won't tell Baizen about it just incase he sees it as anything else.
- Nothing has changed at all.
I called Bai on Saturday and we spoke for a good two hours. "Did you enjoy the party last night?" he asked.
"Yes but I didn't really see you there, Bai."
"I'm sorry, the lads forced me to come outside with them to smoke and I tried to find you but it was no use."
"Smoke! Baizen smoking is so bad for you, it cause your heart distress. Please don't do it again."
"Stop Calvina. I know you're concerned babe but I'm fine, I'm 16. I only do it at parties too so what's the big deal?"
"Ok, ok but I love you too much to let anything happen to you."
"I love you too Cal. What were we talking about? Oh the party. So yeah, I heard everyone played spin the bottle when I was out."
"Yes but I didn't get involved, everyone was so drunk that it just felt improper."
"People were so hammered! By the end of the night most just slept on Grace's living room floor!"
"Really!? But I really wished I had stayed with you the whole night."
"Why is that?"
"I wanted to dance with you! The way we do in my bedroom when Clarke's gone out with his Dad. You remember."
"Oh that kinda dance. Yeah it's totally fun!" he laughed.
"Don't make this into a joke. I love the way we do it." It's true. When Clarke goes out with his dad, I turn my stereo on to the Italian track. My mum gave it to me when I was ten and her and I would prance about in the kitchen, pretending we were in a ballroom contest. We don't do so much of that now. I dance seriously when I'm with Baizen. It's intimate. He spirals his hands around my waist and push my hips into his. We usually end up giggling though because we've fallen over and I've landed on top of him or visa versa!
"Sorry I didn't mean to snap but I don't want you to see me as a little girl. I'm only a year younger than you. I dance seriously when I'm with you."
"I know you do Cal, I dance seriously too. I'm just laughing because we're so sophisticated in the way we dance only we end up toppling over each other!" We giggled for a while then.
That's when I heard a wail. I couldn't tell what it was.
"Baizen I'm going to have to call you back. I love you and I'll speak soon. Bye Bai".
I creeped over to me door and put my ear up against it. Heavy breathing penetrated through the wood and I knew someone was there. Pleas don't let it be my mother, this is too embarrassing.
Clarke!
"Clarke. Wh-- what are you doing outside my bedroom?! Have you been hear for the past couple of hours listening to my whole conversation with Baizen?! Don't, don't tell me you have!" He stuttered and shrugged and panicked.
"I need privacy in my life! You're my friend. Nothing more"
"That's not what I think, Calvina."
