I'm loving this song atm so listen to it.
Also this is like the longest chapter I've ever written, be proud of me.
Also sorry it took so long, wattpad is being an asshole and not letting me share my art with the world.

Stacy's POV

"Maybe he cheated on you?" my friend Samantha suggests as she swirls yet another packet of sugar into her already sweet-enough-to-give-you-type-two-diabetes hot chocolate.

My other companion Alyssa swats Sam's arm and says "You're not helping, we're supposed to be comforting her, not making wild accusations" in a scolding tone before taking a sip from her disgusting Caramel Frappé.

"Hey! I'm just being realistic. He may just be feeling more romantic than normal, all I'm saying is if Stacy here says that he's been acting weirder than normal then, we have to be prepared for the worst!" She defends herself.

"What? That he's cheating? Of course, that obviously tells us clearly that he's been seeing another girl, how could I have missed it?" Alyssa remarks back sarcastically.

"Or guy" Sam ignores the tone "Anyway I wasn't suggesting it was a long-term thing. It just happened one night and now he feels like super guilty about it so he's being like extra clingy and romantic."

Alyssa snorts "Since when are you such an expert on guys? You've never even had a serious relationship."

"oh sorry little miss-all-the-guys-want-to-sleep-with-me-but-I'm-a-prude-so-you'll-have-to-make-do-with-a-shitty-handjob, and I'll have you know I read a lot of fanfiction so fu-"

I cut her off quickly as people around the coffee shop begin to raise eyebrows at the squabble taking part at our table. "GUYS PLEASE! This is not what I need at the moment, and 'this' meaning my two best friends having some petty argument about my boyfriend. Now please can we finish our drinks without conflict?"

They both nodded their heads sheepishly and sipped their drinks is unison.

We all sat in an awkward silence until finally and thankfully Alyssa spoke up "Hey, wasn't Kara supposed to come meet us?"

I exhaled slowly "Yeah but she text me earlier saying she was running a little late, although I didn't think she'd be this long" I explained.

And as if right on cue, in through the coffee shop, walked a very flustered Kara Mikaelson. But she wasn't alone. Next to a certain flustered Kara Mikaelson was a very flustered Luke Hemmings.

Kara turns to him and talks to him in a hushed tone. Too quiet for us to hear.

Then Luke did something that none of us were expecting, and judging by her expressions neither did Kara.

He eyed our table, smirking, all the while talking to our beloved friend, turned back to her, reached down to her and left the single most gentlest kiss I had ever seen on her unexpecting lips.
And then the son of a bitch walked out. That damn smirk still playing on his damned face.
