I admit it. He was pretty fast and maybe almost on my level when it came to fighting. He could use some practice with his flexibility... His hazel eyes complimented him so well. His scent was constantly being thrown in my direction and it was beginning to become unbearable to stay away from. What's that noise? Oh shit! He's running towards me!
And just as I started to focus, he threw a punch straight to my face and then two kicks headed my direction.
I caught it right before it would have met contact with my dazed out self. Hector and I were sparring in the pack's arena and to be honest, I was having a really good time. Besides the fact that it was a little creepy due to the last time I was in here.
It has been eight months since I came upon this pack and fought to stay alive. It would be a lie if I said that I didn't like staying here. The Alpha was very hospitable. I really got to see who he was a person and he wasn't so cruel like he seemed to be when I first got here. The pack members feared and respected me- and I can't say that I didn't mind it. In fact, I feel more comfortable in this pack then I did in my own.
The Alpha's son, Hector had captured my heart secretly. You know which one I'm talking about, the one who pulled the "You're trespassing, rouge" card on me? The one who had tanned skin and had fit body? Come on, the one I was practically drooling over BEFORE I totally knocked him senseless in the woods? Yea, that one.
Hector was confident but not cocky, naturally handsome, caring, and was a leader. He had a very kind and noble heart. I never thought that I would see that in any person. It was weird at first when we first officially met. But he showed me around the pack village and always seemed to want to know how I was feeling and if I was okay.
I guarded my feelings however because when it came down to it, I don't trust anyone and I don't think that I ever will. It's not in my nature. Everyone is a potential enemy. I live in the woods in a little cottage that was made for me (We've been over this. I feel safer in the woods. Have you been paying attention?). I really loved it. I am the official Pack Trainer and since this was technically my first job, I took it very serious. I made the pack members train hard and taught them to rely on all of their senses rather than just their eyes. I taught them to be more in tune to their body, their instincts, and especially nature. The pack as a whole was becoming a strong pack. The best way that I can put it is that I feel at... home. Mind you, I use that loosely, since I technically don't know what home feels like...
