"Well I guess you could say it was funny, saying this was my destiny"
-By Tinkerbelle Woods
I do apologize but I must stray from the "adventure" but I must go back to the past, and tell a tale of a fairy.
In this part, we will see the past of a member of the Lost, The fairy princess. In a kingdom very close to Tigerlily's forest was the Fairy Kingdom. It was dark till you opened your eyes, the city was lit with love, and hope wherever you looked. It made you feel at home, but appearances can be very deceiving. Moving on this kingdom was ruled by Queen Clarion and by Lord Milori. They were in love and they were proud to let their daughter take the crown tonight. It was exactly 6 months from her 18th birthday, everything was perfect everything was set. It was perfect everyone was ready for the night and happy...except for one fairy.
Belle never wanted this, she wanted to help people find their true love, or help find their happy ending. As queen, she couldn't do that, what she could and couldn't do were so limited. Belle knew she should've gotten ready hours ago, getting her hair curled, getting her corset, but she was distracted. She felt a longing when she woke up last night. She had already started getting the dreams, and what? Were they supposed to just fade away when her mum makes her get married to a man she won't ever love? She had started getting dreams of him. For the creatures of this world, mermaids, fairies, and others when they turned 16 they start getting dreams of their true loves. The pair always goes to the same place as the other when they dream. They spend the night together doing whatever their hearts desire, the thing is only one of them is able to remember them.
Only one of them is able to recall the feeling the other gives. When they meet, the one left in the dark has the longing for the other, to make them theirs. It hurts when the soulmates are away from each other, and when they can't love each other. Soon enough after meeting the other will start remembering the dreams little by little. Sometimes by glimpses or sayings that were exchanged. For Belle, she wakes up with rosy cheeks from the feeling of her human holding her tight. From the soft tingle that was left on her cheek that he gave her. It made her realize that he had so much of an effect on her. It hurt her when this handsome boy was somewhere else. That another could get to kiss his lips, to hold him tight, to get to do the job that was originally entrusted with her.
Belle still longed to sleep though, to see his face, to change her human's mind. It's why she wanted to leave to find her true love and prove to him that she is what he wants, what he deserves. "Someone", she muttered that person has everything I don't have. The funny thing about these dreams is that pair might not receive them at the same time. For Belle it was the same case, she was born 3 centuries before her true love, she would have to wait quite a long time before he was born, it was weird considering fairies and mermaids live for thousands of years. It takes quite a bit for them to age. It is the same for maturing, this is why they waited until she was 1,800 before giving the crown to Belle because in human years she'd be 18.
The young royal blonde went to the balcony attached to her room. As she walked out she had a forced smile as she looked at the stars. "You know I wish I could see you, you must have more freedom than I have. I want to be free like you, travel to where you are and know who you are. I admire that, let me find you, what world are hiding in my human?" Belle looked at the stars, one day she thought one day I'll see you, and we'll be together. The only reason she knew it was a human because when fairy mate meets for the first time their eyes turn blue even if it's in a dream. If it was for humans it would be purple, other colors would apply for other creatures. This also applies for merpeople as well.
The fairy thought for a second and let down a tear. How was it that she was willing to leave her kingdom just like that? She knew she wouldn't make a good queen. Especially since her heart told her to leave, her mind, and her soul. If she stood it would mean her longing to lead a different life. Something that being queen couldn't fulfill.
