"Well I guess you could say we were damned from the begging"

-Daphne Jane Scarborough

At last, I need to continue, I don't want to start too much with morbid, and scary things, but I must tell the past and the present so you understand. The reason for will be mentioned at another time but for now, it's time the tale of a pirate royal to be mentioned.

Now to tell this tale we must go back two years where this girl was 17, she pure, full of heart, and innocent. She may have known how to kick some ass, but she was on the side of good. Well, at least she was before she realized being a pirate wasn't cheap.

This young girl smiled as she looked at her surroundings, her father's crew were drinking, cleaning, singing. It was fun to be a pirate! You see the reason why this child...you'll understand soon. This little girl's name was Daphne, Daphne Jane Scarborough. Today was special because a witch was held captive on her father's ship. (Although Daphne thought she was only visiting). The woman's name was Astrid Seer's. All Daphne knew of her was her name and the fact that she was holding a very special book.

Sooner or later Daphne heard her father commanding his crew, she smiled knowing he awoken. She ran to him and gave him a hug. Black Beard was surprised nonetheless, but he shook his head. Yes, Daphne's father was Black Beard and even though he wasn't much on the handsome side now, Daphne definitely was. She had these gray eyes, wavy black hair, a strong jawline. She was a beautiful young woman who could get any man to feel attraction towards her. Daphne didn't want that though she had an idea, of the person she would love forever. He would be slightly mischievous, adventurous, sassy, sexy, and many other things. He would be unlike any other man or boy she'd meet. Just looking into his eyes would make her melt, her knees weak. She feared that she'd would lose herself in his eyes. She knew though that she'd find herself in them as well, the other half, the better one. She knew that he would be her angel. Black Beard chuckled and stopped her thoughts short before she could go to deep.

He said "I have a surprise for you remember the women we brought onto the ship, well she has important news for the both of us. It concerns...the book"

This caught Daphne's attention immediately. She nodded her head in happiness, and curiosity for the book and talking to the witch. She had never spoken to one before. She walked with her father down into the forbidden area and frowned "father, where are we going? I thought I wasn't allowed down here?"

Black Beard sighed and responded, "after today you are allowed to come down here whenever."

Daphne didn't question the man any further. She knew him better than anyone and she knew when to back off. She took a deep breath and walked into the murky dark entrance. She was appalled at what she saw, no horrified. She saw men held in shackles behind cages gagged but pleading for their life. What else would they be asking for when they walked by the cages? She let a tear fall, Black Beard looked behind himself to see the small action.

He thought got a minute his eyes darkening. But as soon as that happened they turned back to normal his plan will work no matter what! He will make sure of it. Both of them stopped at the last cage this ship had. The Right Star, named by a two-year-old Daphne, when Blackbeard raided another Captains ship who questioned and challenged his title as King of the Seven Seas. He asked her what he should call the beauty and she thought for a moment then she looked up, she saw the night sky stars and pointed to her favorite constellation, the Big Dipper. But then she saw two other stars that weren't there before above it. She saw how the seconds one was above the other and further to the right. That was that that was the name she chose, and it was perfect. It made the ship sound, beautiful, and mysterious.
