Allah says in Quran:
"And it is We who have built the Universe with (Our creative) power and keep expanding it." (Quran 51:47)
In this Ayah, Allah refers to the expansion of the universe. According to this ayah, the universe has not been the same since its existence; it continues and will continue on changing.
This fact was proved by science a hundred years ago when the astronomers found out that the universe does not remain constant, rather it is expanding with the passage of time, thus proving the claim of Quran.
