Title: Don't want to be alone

It was a Friday night, and Elliot was all alone in the squadroom, since he wasn't ready to go home to a quiet apartment just yet. Thanking the gods that he finally divorced Kathy, getting tired of all the arguments. That were mostly about Olivia of course.

Elliot's POV

Now that it's finalize between Kathy and I, I'm going to try and tell Olivia how I actually feel about her. I pray to God that she excepts my feelings back. I looked at the picture on my desk of us. It was the first year we became partners, and it has been the best 8 years of my life, even though we sometimes didn't agree on the same things. Of course it's part of being good partners, definitly knowing that Fin and Munch are best friends, but has the biggest arguments. Those two always make me laugh, when they're not angry at each other.

I placed the memorable picture down as I broke out of my daze, and went back to doing my paperwork. I stopped moving my pin immediately as I felt a hand touch my shoulder, which caused me to jump a little. I looked up and of course saw Olivia, my palms started to get sweaty, and I didn't know why.

"...Sorry, El. I didn't mean to scare you, " she said sitting down on the corner of my desk. "I thought you heard me come in."

"It's fine, I was to focused on my work." I smirked as I sat back in my chair facing her. I just couldn't help but stare for a few seconds before talking. "So, what brings you back on this fine Friday night. Did the Captain send you home, Benson?"

"Well, I got bored. So I just came back to finish my work, that I had left." I listened to her talk but I just couldn't help, but look straight to her lips, knowing it's very rude. At this moment I really didn't care. "And I recall, the captain sent you home also...why aren't you at home Stabler?"

I looked back up at her eyes, thinking about her question before answering. "There isn't anything to go home too, not anymore." I looked up at her. I smirked when she started to make that most adorable confused look she always makes. "Kathy and I are officially divorced. She couldn't take it anymore, with me not hardly being at home."

"...Why didn't you want to be at home with your family, Elliot?"she sat there waited for an answer.

"I love my kids, but I just couldn't stay there with Kathy, I wasn't happy anymore, Olivia. All I wanted was to just be with yo... you guys, with all you guys." I'm glade I caught myself before I almost said something stupid. I hope she didn't catch it, but I really do have a feeling that she did. "I already talked to Eli about the divorce, and he understood. I'm just releaved that I got joint custody of the kids. Kathleen and Maureen already knew about the situation, so they gave me the okay, since they didn't want Eli to go through all the fighting like they did."

Olivia's POV

I was speachless and shocked at same time, after almost hearing him say that he just wants to be with me... Instead of thinking about it, I continued to listen to him, and pretend I didn't here what he said. Even though it kept bothering me. Wondering if he feels the same way, as I been feeling about him. I shouldn't think that way...he literally just got a divorce from his ex-wife, I just need to clear my head from all these thoughts...

"Olivia!" I jumped hearing my name being called. I was too deep that time. I looked up, as he was standing in front of me, I saw a worried look pasted on his face. "Are you okay. I called you like about 6 times."

"Sorry, I went into a daze. Alot is on my mind right now." hey, at least half of it was true. "I'm also sorry, for what happened between you and Kathy. I know some of it was my fault."

"Liv, don't blame yourself for what happened, it was my choice. She told me she was in a relationship with someone else, just to get back at me. She thought I was going to confess to the 'so called' affairs I was having with you, but she was wrong, I told her the truth; that she was the one who made the mistake here. I left after that." I looked down trying to take in everything. I saw him place his hand under my chin and brought my eyes back to his. "Even though I was married to her, the whole time I knew I was supposed to be married to you. I couldn't stop thinking about you, Liv, that's one reason I love coming to work everyday. Just to see you."

He moved my bangs out of my face, and placed his hand on my cheek, and looked straight into my eyes. "I love you, Olivia Benson." I pinched myself once to make sure that it was a dream, but it wasn't. Instead it was a dream come true, so I just went for it. I placed my hand on his shoulder, pulling him to me as I kissed him. I imagined how it would feel with his lips on mine, it's much better in reality. I felt him take down my hair out of my pony tail, and started tugging softly. I finally broke the kiss for air. "I love you too, Elliot Stabler. More then you'll ever know."

"Show me."he said placing his hands on my sides. I didn't hesitate as I started kissing him again, I felt him pick me up and carried me to the cribs, where we made love until we couldn't no more.

What they didn't know, was that John Munch was coming back for rest of his paperwork since he had the day off tomorrow. He smiled, for two reasons: 1- Fin owes him fifty dollars tomorrow for winning the bet, and 2- He's so happy that those two finally got together. After seeing them head up to the cribs, he hurriedly grabbed his papers and quickly walked out of the squadroom not wanting to get caught by one of them. Fifty bucks here I come!
