Mars P.O.V

Im gonna kill him I fucking swear, he better have a good reason for not being here on time. While hes out doing god knows what, Im here attending his guest. Dont get me wrong I love the pack and all but Ive got girls and friends to attend. As I close the door and get the guest settled in I check my phone for any messages. 

Klyde: Be there in 5

If he takes more than 5 minitues Im killing him, maybe I shouldnt Valerie isnt someone to mess with well she wasnt back then, that poor girl has a rough past. Any who its not my job to think about her, its Klydes and I have my own mate to look for. I wonder if she was my age, how she looked like. Im actually getting tired of being with different girls. Im a guy and guys has needs but they arent getting satisfied and they wont be until i find HER. You see your mate is the only person that can make you happy, calm and everything good in this world. Not everyone finds there mate, some die and some arent even found. I havent found mine and being 18 without a mate is fucking hard. 

I hope to find her soon, cus its hard not having your other half, 

Wolf: calm your ass down you act as if you knew what if feels like to have one

Me: Really you're gonna be a jerk right now

Wolf: look buddy when I see her I will tell you

Me; Really?!

Wolf: yes now can we go for a run?

Me: will you wait! god damit your bossy.....

"Hey sorry for being late" I heard, As i turn around I see Klyde with a big bruise on his head. "its fine man but wanna explain the bruise?" I touched  it and it made him flinch, which only made me laugh. " crap I only like it when Val touches it" I raised my eyebrow as he says that.

" and why is that? " I asked him crossing my arms agaisnt my chest.

" cus it dosent hurt, now dont  touch it and lets go see the pack" He leads the way and I follow. The house is pretty big and since we have alot of mates with lots of kids we need alot of space. The pack house is at least 3 stories high, each room sound proof. We honestly dont wanna hear what happends in those rooms. 

" OK so your mom is in the kitche with my mom, dads are in the living room and the rest is guest. Have fun" I say but he grabs my shoulder before I can leave.

" hey  i wanted to ask you something" he says  ain shakey voice. what was he nervous about? 

" shoot" I tell him.

" i want you to become my beta" I almost thought he was kidding but he has his serious face on. So he wasnt kidding?

" y-y-you do? " Im not beta material like.... Not at all " I scratch my hair and look down at the ground. 

" yes I want you as my beta Mars, your my best man and I think you will do great" He says patting my back. I look up at him but before he can say anything he says " got to go and atttend guest I'll take to you later man" He runs along before I say anything. 

I walk towards the kitchen and sit down, but then move cus I hear moms gossiping about there kids mates and bets. I swear moms these days are mad. I walk to the kids launge and find Chirstopher and Chad sitting on the couch laughing at something.  I havent seen those two since middle school. I know there at least one year younger than me, so they are both juniors. 

" hey guys whats up " I shake Chirstophers hand and sit down. For guys we cant really sit that close, its weird honestly. " nun much waiting for my sister to get here, shes been down by lake too long and I dont like her being alone. She dosent even know the place" Chad said. Sister? I didnt know they had a sister....
