Having that  BBQ was actually a good idea, I met new people and made new friends. Except I didnt see Val. As I was going to the field as a group of girls from yesterday stop me and smile. If I remember well I see Lora, Rose , Alicia, Sara and Grace. Grace smiles at me "so were you going so where? me and the girls thought you might want to have lunch with us" They want me to have lunch with them? Its not that i dont want to but i rather just hang out with Val. But they dont know shes my mate. 

 Before I can asnwer she hooks her arm  around my arm and drags me to some benches. "Here lets introduce you to some friends , Im sure you'll love them right guys" the other girls just nod and smile. As I sit down I see val sitting below a tree having lunch she turns to grab something for her bag and  eventually our eyes meet but she turns around quickly.  

As I sit here and  meet new people, we mostly talk about my days at my old school,and laugh at random stuff . Im having a good time but guilt  starts to flow in me, I feel like I should be by Vals side than here. So I get up and tell the guys "i have to ask someone for hw, had fun maybe next time we can chill out of school" The girls look kinda of sad but the guys look understanding "alrite by man, nice meeting you" Alex says. I turn and walk towards Val and I notice shes drawing?            " Hey valerie"I sit down next to her and she unplugs her earphones. " Hi? can I help you?" I start grabbing  pieces of grass and throwing them. "nothing  just wanted to talk to you" since the sun was right behind her It made it hard to look at her face so I had to squint my eyes just to see her. She looked beautiful under the sun, these are the moments I need a camara. " look, it looked like you were having fun over there. Why are you honestly here? You come here and you just pop into my life like some stranger" she looks at me like she was waiting for an honest answer. " Yeah you see I wasnt having too much fun, I have more fun with you believe it or not. Maybe thats a sign" I said using that weird voice. 

I swear I think I saw her smile at the ground  "ok yeah sure, watever. So do you like the people here? " Shes actually having a conversation with me.I look up and meet her eyes "yeah the people here are cool, guys are nice and the chicks to" 

" you know there alot of nice girls why dont you head on over there and meet some nice girls?" This takes me by surprise my mate wants me to go and date other girls?! Is she nuts?! I lean in close so our faces our 8 inches away "theres a problem with that" I tell her. "and what is it?" giving me her confused look. I look at her straight in the eyes and tell her "I only have an interest in one" she gulps, I think she might know who. She moves her body away from mine " theres Lora I heard shes good at vollyball and likes camping" l lay down looking up "nah not really into volleball" I shighs why did I have a feeling she was gonna name most girls? "theres rose shes a good photographer" 

"nope not really into that either " before she can asnwer I lean over onto my side " You can name all the girls in our school but none of them wont and never will be my type. Like I said before I only have an interest in one" she raises her eye brow and sighs."well then I think I should look for that chick so you can go get her" I pertend to act hurt "dont want me here now? "  She giiggles and says "no look I like your company but no one ever sticks around this much, its a new thing for me. But why?" Before I can answer the bell rings. I grab her phone and add my number in. "here txt me and I'll tell you why I stick around you"I wink at her and leave.
